Karacticus, you're fired!

Day 853, 06:20 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Polio

"I gotta tell ya, you're fired!"

I come today, unfortunately, to tell you about our current President: Karacticus. As a citizen of the UK, it pains me to bring this in to the public domain, but I simply cannot sit idly by and let this continue. Please don't take this article as anything other than what I intend it to be - Kara isn't a good President - I am not insinuating, or trying to imply he is a bad player, a bad person; he just isn't up to the job we have placed him in.

Inactivity

As someone who is deeply involved and active in Phoenix channels, I know better than most that Karacticus simply isn't pulling his weight here. He just isn't there. Our President is responsible for representing us; making sure we have all the information we need to function as a member of the alliance and put across both our viewpoint and our interests. How can this be done when he isn't there? For example, our Chief of Defence Staff was not informed of some important things in regards to Phoenix, things which I had to instead inform him of. Granted, our Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence would come in to play here but it isn't their sole responsibility to do this; they should be working in conjunction with, not instead of our President.

Mistakes

There are a couple of bad choices Karacticus has made this term (with regards to the military, at least), so here goes:

- Brazillian MPP

Our brazillian MPP was important to keep renewed; it was activated against Peru so in the event Poland forgot to renew, or we wanted to advance further to take Peru's high iron, our damage would be useful. This MPP was allowed to lapse, and our damage removed from the equation. This MPP was renewed a few days later, for no reason. Neither Brazil's nor the UK's original territories are under threat at the moment.

- Indonesian MPP

Our Indonesian MPP was allowed to lapse, so we missed half of the one-off battle with Australia. But worse than this, Karaticus renewed it after the battle had ended; what are the chances Australia would attack again? And with the Russian training war, and Slovenian wars; was it worth paying 100g for another war to split our damage?

I could go on about other mistakes but I'll keep this short. To anyone who wishes to argue with me:
