Karacticus : Prospective Cabinet

Day 834, 09:26 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Karacticus
This is not part two of my manifesto.

I have decided to announce my chosen cabinet should I win. This will enable us to take applications for Under Ministers and Apprentices in order to be ready to start work on the 6th.

We have a lot of new talent emerging in the UK at present and I’d like to think that the people I’ve appointed can help in bringing those people into ministries and help them develop in their chosen field. Here goes…

Minister of Foreign Affairs: Mr Woldy

I have worked with and along side Woldy for many, many months. He is a genuine servant to this country and one of the very few true statesmen the eWorld has. His knowledge of Foreign Affairs is of the highest calibre and he has a list of achievements as long as a very tall persons arm.

Chancellor of the Exchequer: elbanaan

Elbanaan comes highly recommended by our outgoing MoF and I have high hopes.
The words “excellent” and “brilliant” have been used to describe him, so no pressure.
He is also very enthusiastic about making a start, let’s hope working with me doesn’t scar him too much.

Minister of Defence: Pensive

Pensive took over as MoD earlier this month and has done an excellent job so far.
His dedication to the military and the Uk is something that is rarely seen. It is only fair that he be given another month to fully realise his potential at the head of our armed forces.

Minister of Home Affairs: Dan Moir

I’ve worked with Dan in the MoHA for about three months. His enthusiasm and work ethic are phenomenal. He has been a shining example in the Ministry this month, he has lots of ideas for taking the Ministry forward and I know that I can trust him to do anything that is asked. He’s a nice bloke as well.

Minister of Work: Meghan

Meghan was thrown in at the deep end this month when she was asked to take over this Ministry. To take over such a huge task as running the MoW half way through a month is amazing. Hopefully given a full month Meghan can create a well oiled ministry and start implementing some of her own ideas into the place.

Minister of Legislative Affairs: malta_1990

Or as I call him, Mr Legislation, is more than qualified to sort out or laws and legislation. A former Prime Minister, Party President and anything else you can think of. His experience and knowledge will prove invaluable for helping new members of the political system.

Minister of Economics: Iain Keers

The shadowy figure of Mr Keers will continue to lurk within the MoE. He has one of the strongest economic brains within the eWorld and I look forward to seeing him try to explain complex equations to me. I believe that together with our new Chancellor, we have an excellent financial team in place.

Communications Director : Hassan Pesaran

In his application Hassan said that he really wanted to make this position a serious one and I can think of no one better for the job. With a job history like Hassan has I am fully confident that he will have no problem in chasing ministers for reports. For those of you who are unaware of this Hassan fellow, try putting his name in the wiki search engine.

Cabinet Secretary : Daniel Thorrold

I worked with Dan in the MoHA for several months and found him to be extremely organised and dedicated to getting things done to the best possible standards. Dan will be an excellent Cabinet Secretary and I look forward to him nagging me to sign contracts.

As well as these fantastic people, we will also have a small group of ancients, to help and advise whenever they can. They are:

FinalDestiny, John Forseti and Bombadierbeetle who have more experience than you can shake a stick at. They will be on hand to offer advice to all ministers and generally be brilliant.

I hope you’ll agree with me that if elected, with a team like this, our country will be in excellent hands.

If your interested in becoming an apprentice our Under Minister please apply via pm to the relevant minister. I’d like to be able to start work on the 6th with a full team in place should we win.

P.S. Some of you may have spotted no Minister of Technology, I shall elaborate in part two of my manifesto tomorrow as to why this is so.
