Just sweep the dirt under the carpet

Day 785, 07:24 Published in Hungary Hungary by Zoli

I see that the new trend is to hide problems and errors rather then to fix them.

Take 1 – New Reporting System

Up until now we received feedback regarding sent reports. Even if they were not dealt in a timely manner we saw when the problem was fixed or the abuse was corrected (delete).

With the new report abuse system we will never get an answer, we will never know if the issue was solved or not. This will not help game moderators to take faster actions as all messages they sent were standard messages selected with a button, but at least now they can ignore our reports as we cannot check if something has been done about them.

Take 2 – Articles about the "latest feature" were deleted

Today a new “feature” appeared, as people saw the “Delete Comment” button at other people’s comments. The button was not working, but a few articles regarding this issue appeared. They were normal articles, nothing special, they did not blame admins for it, and they just found this new "feature" funny. Their articles were deleted but the bug was not corrected when those articles were taken down. By now this issue was fixed, but I still do not understand why those articles were deleted.

I do not understand why censorship is applied, why some people waste time to hide obvious things. We are not dumb not to see what is happening.

Anyway I am not going to waste time to continue this article as it will probably be deleted according to the new guidelines to sweep the dirt under the carpet instead of really cleaning up.
