June - Map of eCanada

As you may notice, there are several new features:
1. Quality gradients have been upgraded according to comments and criticism. It is much easier to determine the quality/features of various provinces.
2. The map now accurately portrays the borders of provinces in eCanada. Mountains indicate impassable obstacles that armies must travel around, while bridges and sea routes show potential passages in which armies can invade from.
3. The SCOTIA logo indicates the location where the SCOTIA organization is currently constructing infrastructure.
A couple of interesting trends compared to May:
1. British Columbia now has a Q5 Defense system! I am happy to have worked to get this legislation through congress, since its placement in BC means a tremendous benefit to my fellow BC citizens, as well as the defense of eCanada. Keep in mind that having the DS in BC means the enemy will rather want to go around BC, which means it will have to travel through an additional province (Yukon, then NWT) to get to Alberta and the rest of eCanada. This additional province requires additional money, time, and attack damage for the enemy to conquer, while simultaneously gives us more time to rally troops and allies to defend the invasion. eCanada is better protected with this DS!
2. The population of eCanada has decreased in nearly all regions! Part of this may be due to CAF being redeployed to Romania, but these 100+ soldiers still don't account for the total loss of citizens. Where have all the citizens gone?
3. A SCOTIA logo is in Alberta! What are they building there? Well, according to recent legislation in congress, it looks like it's going to be a better hospital for Albertans! I am proud to have donated 2.5 gold to SCOTIA, and if my gift company ever sells, I will be donating 7.5 more gold for future projects.
Please keep sending me your comments! I want to make this map as useful and visually-pleasing as possible!

good job dabman! nice map.
Great job!
Good job.
I suggest you include a legend of raw materials. It looks like we have iron all over the place.
As good as ever.
A very good map Dabman, thank you. Though I also think the symbols of Wood and Iron look similar unless you zoom in. At which point they become much easier to tell apart.
The mountains are a great improvement.
The raw materials criticism has been noted, and I'll try to address this in the next version.
At cursory glance, sure iron and wood look similar.
However, under closer scrutiny - say 2-3 seconds, the difference is clear. Especially when you consider that everyone knows where eCanadian iron is.
Bang up job dabman. Gonna have to replace May's now in my bookmarks.
Getting better every time dabman🙂 As far as where our population went good question.I don't have any hard data but I'm speculating that part of the loss was from the PTO attempt. That's the only thing I can think of that might explain such a mass exodus.
Damn fine job. Thank you.
Why did we upgrade BC to a Q5 defence and not Newfoundland?
great map btw
Awesome!
Newfoundland is connected to Ireland and Spain. These are our allies, and the enemy has to plow through their entire country to get to us from NFL. On the west coast of eCanada, only Alaska protects us.
dabman: I wouldn't say it was a political map of ecanada, rather it is an economic map.
Tom:
Heheh, it *was* a political map a month ago, when it barely had any information on it. Now it has so much information that you're absolutely right!
how come no mountains between bc and alberta?
PimpDollaz,
Because in eRepublik, BC & Alberta are connected to each other which means armies can travel and invade. The mountains are only added to regions that are inaccessible to armies.
I can't believe no one noticed I misspelled Saskatchewan!
oh, I see
I guess we won't get a surprise attack from those ruskies over the arctic circle, ha ha ha
Nice work. Thanks for the update!
