July 25th, 2009. A rigged election.

Day 604, 10:52 Published in USA USA by CaptainCAPS

Before I get into this article, I would like to say that I am a senator; someone who would be "guarenteed" a seat should we accept the the senator freeze the top 4 parties support.

I would also like to say that I, CaptainCAPS, UIP senator from Oregon, dissaprove of any plan that would take elections out of the hands of the masses, and into the hands of anyone else. The UIP also has denied the top four partys request to engage in election sabatoge, and the UIP is the only top five party to do so. However, many other smaller parties are rising against this plan too.

The plan is this; Party Presidents want to suspend elections in order to free up voters to PTO other nations. What would happen is every senator who is currently in a seat, would all join the USWP, and the other parties would not field a credible candidate at all. This would mean no freshmen senators with new ideas; no way for citizens to usher in change that may be needed in a time of war. Some of the biggest decisions every made by a country in this game are being made by us now, and this would stop the people from getting a say in it.

Also, beyounds being corrupt, this plan is unfeasable. Many voters would not want to vote or PTO another country, and would stay in the U.S and vote anyways, even if the election was guarenteed. Only a select few people would actually be forced to have their vote mean anything elsewhere, and those select few people would be too few to even have their intended effect take place.

The United States cannot allow it to transform into such a panicked state that we suspend democracy while a threat passes. Because then we, the government, become the threat. The threat to the people.

The AAP has stated that the UIP will be retailated against if we oppose the measure. They have published more or less, a hitlist on their forums, showing UIP senators who their party will elect out for opposing the plan. Now, this election freeze is one thing. In some channels it can be talked about with a lack of anger, and as much reason as this plan could possibly allow. But the hitlist on people that dont agree; that cant be debated.

In other news, I planned this article to be about my running for reelection in the state of Oregon, but now it appears to be an article about the possibility of the death of U.S democracy, and the death of the parties that defended it.

But, alas, it is with fustration and agitation of the current state of the government, that I announce my run for Senator of Oregon for a second time.

I also ask that all people who oppose the election freeze plan, talk to their "leaders", and demand that they be given their voice back.
