Podsumowanie polska, patrz poniżej. - English version below, as well as a short summary for those who don't want to read my blah.

Also, in der zweiten Ausgabe des Pommerschen Wochenblattes geht es wie gestern angekündigt um die polnische Besetzung in MeckPomm.

Notgedrungen muss ich mir Geld, Waffen und Brot alles selbst organisieren, das Partisanentum lässt sich trotzdem gut an. Für deutsche Betriebe kann ich mich zwar nicht bewerben (da im Ausland), doch ich komme auf den polnischen Arbeitsmarkt. Der Bedarf an Arbeitern scheint dort riesig, immerhin finde ich immer auf der dritten oder achten Seite einen Q1 oder Q2-Betrieb, der mir bis zu 100 PLN am Tag zahlt. Nach meiner Arbeit werde ich unverzüglich gefeuert, doch zu spät: Die erbeutete Summe an Fremdwährung investiere ich sofort wieder: In polnisches Brot und inzwischen auch mal Waffen.

Die Besatzung ermöglicht mir nämlich den Einkauf von Brot und Waffen sowohl in ePolen als auch in eDeutschland. Ratet mal, wo die Preise für beides um knapp ein Drittel niedriger sind (im Devisenmarkt sitzt der Umrechnungskurs nicht uninteressanterweise derzeit bei etwa 1:1 in Richtung DEM, aber bei 1:2 in Richtung PLN)

Und hier beginnt jetzt meine Beispiel-Rechnung.
Heute betrug mein Arbeitslohn 100 PLN, nach Steuern blieben mir 98 PLN.

Der polnische Unternehmer erhielt durch meine Arbeit 8 Q2-Waffen (sein Lager war nicht voll mit Raws), die kann er bei einem Preis von etwa 11.5 PLN pro Stück für 92 PLN verhökern - er macht dabei also wohl Verlust. Mein gestriger Arbeitgeber ließ mich 120 Q1 Brot produzieren und entlohnte mich mit ebenfalls fast 100 PLN. Auch das war ein Verlustgeschäft, wenn ich das richtig rechne.

Ich kaufe mir also heute für 98 PLN: 20 Q5 Brot (Kosten 55.6 PLN) und 1 Q5 Panzer (Kosten 29.64). [Anmerkung: Stand heute abend hätte ich sie sogar nochmal billiger bekommen: 50.8 bzw. 27.8. Mist, das Geld ist weg.] Die polnischen Verkäufer haben heute an mir also 86 PLN verdient, ein bisschen was lege ich für morgen beiseite. Was ich mit meinen Einkäufen mache, darf der geneigte Leser erraten, ein Tipp: Ich stelle es nicht in meine kleine Scheune.

Damit sieht die Gesamtrechnung aus wie folgt:
- Die polnische Volkswirtschaft gewinnt in etwa 100 PLN, also ca. 0.25 Gold. Die Produkte arbeiten allerdings gegen Polen, und wenn viele Spieler so handeln wie ich, läppert sich das zusammen.
- Deutschland ist unbeteiligt. Ich als Widerstandskämpfer habe zwar heute für D (und US) gekämpft, aber Stichwort Volkswirtschaft: an Steuern bekommt D wohl leider nüscht.
- Ich persönlich gewinne XP, etwas Fremdwährung zum Sparen, und verliere nichts. Dazu kommt der Vorteil, dass ich für höhere Löhne als in Deutschland arbeite und niedrigere Preise als dort bezahlen muss. Die Besatzung lohnt sich für mich also enorm.

Soweit meine Erkenntnisse, für mich als Neuling sind sie spielentscheidend. Für diejenigen, die schon lange dabei sind, dürfte dieser ganze Kinderkram banal sein, denn man hat schließlich seine eigenen Firmen und überhaupt, was soll der Bohei wegen einem Viertel Gold, wenn die Polen sich das für ein paar RL-Groszy auch kaufen könnten...

Die Redaktion des Pommerschen Wochenblatts dankt den spielerfahreneren Lesern allerdings trotzdem für sachdienliche Hinweise, falls die erste finanzökonomische Reportage teilweise oder sogar völlig daneben liegen sollte. Provinzblatt halt. 😛 😃

This is the second issue of the Pommerania Weekly News. As announced yesterday (sorry, german only), it's about the polish occupation in this very region.

I'm forced to organize everything myself: Money, Weapons, Bread. Still, my guerilla warfare is proceeding fine: As I cannot work for german companies (they're "abroad"), I have to search at the polish job market. Apparently they need workers desperately there, on the third or eighth page I usually find a q1 or q2 company that offers 100 PLN per day. After I worked, I usually get fired immediately, but that's too late for them: I invest the captured currency in bread and even weapons.

That's the second advantage: The occupation enables me to buy things both in ePoland and eGermany. Guess where I'll get everything for 30% cheaper. (Interestingly enough, the monetary market fixes 1 PLN as 1 DEM, and 1 PLN as 2 DEM). No, financial speculation isn't worth anything here.

And now to my example calculation:
My payment was 100 PLN today, 98 PLN after taxes.
My kind polish employer got 8 Q2 weapons (only 8 of 12, his stocks weren't full). On the market in Poland he can sell this for a mere 92 PLN, and will have losses. My employer yesterday let me produce 120 q1 bread for 100 PLN, which I guess was a loss for him as well.

I bought today for 98 PLN: 20 Q5 bread (price: 55.6) and 1 q5 tank (price: 29.64). [Remark: as of this evening, I woulda got everything cheaper for 50.8 and 27.8 respectively. Shoot, money is gone.] Thus, the polish market has earned 86 PLN on my purchase. Now you may guess what I did with my purchases. And no, I didn't put it into that lovely cottage that's there on my land.

My total calculation is as follows:
- Polish economy gains more or less 100 PLN per day thanks to my work. That's 0.25 gold. The products I produce are then used against their interests. If many people in the occupied zones behave like me, Poland might get troubles, as they don't gain as much as they lose.
- Germany has no role in this scheme. As a guerilla I fought today for Germany and the US, but speaking of economy, Germany got nothing.
- And speaking for myself, I gained XP, some currency for my savings, and I lost nothing. Added the advantage that I work for higher loans as in Germany and have to pay less than on the german market. Occupation definitly has its merits!

So far about my insights. For me as newbie this is important business. For those that are in the game since whenever, I guess this is kinda boring common knowledge. 'We have our own companies, and who gives a damn because of a quarter gold. Poland balances this with a few RL-groszys...'

However, the staff of the Pommerania Weekly news ist thanking for any advice and remarks just in case that its very first economic news is in fact absolutely wrong. It's a jerkwater region here. 😛 😃
