Day 2,887, 19:59 Published in India India by iam dinko
Greetings fellas o/

This is one of the better periods in eIndia's history, with the recent baby-boom and a surge in activities, particularly media. So I thought I'd compile a manual of sorts to help you write your articles better and make it look good.

Also, I'd like to encourage everybody, especially the newbies, to take part in the Mega Indian Article Writing Contest and reap the riches.

So, here we go...

Here's an image of how your editor looks like, along with what some basic features let you do.

Alternatively, you can also select the required text and hit the appropriate button on the bar.

How about jazzing up your article with lots of images, gifs and website links? Nah, it's not the internet boom of the 90's, it's Erep! So go mad with it. Here's how -

Before we move on, keep in mind that -
◕ You can't put the link of your picture directly from your computer. You need a web host like this one or any other of your preference. If there's already an image on the web, simply right-click on it and select Copy image URL and use that link.
◕ Occasionally website links don't seem to work, 'cause, I don't know, Plato says screw it? In that case, just shorten your link using Tiny URL or any other similar website.
◕ Lastly, but most importantly, make sure you keep your friends safe by not putting malicious links in your article.

Few other functions of the editor include -

Alright, so this is all you could do with what you can see on the editor page. If you aspire to become a Media Mogul on Erepublik, I suggest you get acquainted with few more codes.

Let's learn how to align your text.

▲ Right : Write your text/show your picture on the right side

▲ Center : Write your text/show your picture in the middle

▲ Indent: Works a bit like the tab key

As long you don't close a indent, your article will continue on the same tab.

Got a nerd-boner for Math and Chemistry equations? You can display them the way it's meant, with the use of Superscripts and Subscripts.

Superscript - = X2

Subscript - = H2O

Express yourself better, like the rest of the world, with Smileys

Content with your article? Go ahead and publish it!
Oh wait! Before you do that, you must also remember -

◕ If you come across "CRFS Attack detected" message, you can return to the previous page and try again.
◕ It is advisable to save your content on an offline word editor, like MS Word, and make the necessary changes you wish to make.
