Jossar's Congress Platform

Day 548, 21:25 Published in Israel Israel by Joran

As a member of the country's largest political party, it's hard to stand out, especially when one isn't already involved in politics. Nevertheless, I am going to try to convince you, the people of eIsrael and specifically those of the South District, why you should vote for me in the upcoming Congress elections.

What I Believe In:

I believe in transparency: As Sadeh has tried to do over his time as President, and as the IRU and many other parties are doing now, I want to open up the government to the people. And so, if elected, I will not only tell the people why I will be undertaking certain actions, but I will be periodically looking at my message box to see if anyone wants to talk about the state of the State. If you can make a convincing argument in the letter on how to improve eIsrael, we might end up with a new congress bill.

I believe in the power of the eIsraeli Economy: This has always been one of the most recognizable points of the IWP, its commitment to our own industries. No taxes on raw materials that we can not produce ourselves to ensure materials for production markets, and Medium to High taxes on Produced Goods and Grain to keep our own industries strong, and encourage anyone who wants to sell on those markets here to move to eIsrael.

I believe in Diplomacy: Although it is sad to see that our negotiations with the Turkish people have pretty much fallen through entirely, I still believe that it is possible to cultivate ties with the rest of our neighbors (or at least Greece 😛). I also recognize the value of all the ATLANTIS nations that fought for eIsraeli freedom now and in the past, and will support the MPP's with as many of the nation's friend countries as possible. The alliance is dead, but the bond lives on!

I believe in the Military: I'm a fairly active soldier, whenever we go to war. I was involved in the fight for the South District, and I always keep up to date on conflicts in the news. I am a strong supporter of an active, although defensive IDF. We'll eventually get those last two regions guys and girls, just wait...

I Believe In Activism: Constantly encouraging the eIsraeli people to vote or donate for good causes, as Congressman, this will continue. If elected, I will use the authority invested in me by the eIsraeli people to further rally all of us on to better collective causes. And i'll definitely donate the 5 gold from winning the spot to the OBOI.

Even with all this, I can understand why people would pass me by: never really had much experience in running the country. But I'd like people to at least give me a chance to prove myself, and see what I, what WE can do for the nation's future!

Vote Jossar.
Go IWP!

In the process of developing a real sign off catch phrase... until then, this has been The Tribal Tribune.
