Joining The South East Regional Forum

Day 654, 02:42 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Graham Fortune

I recently joined the South East Regional Forum, so that I could do my bit for the area, and get to know some of my fellow locals.

With this in mind, I asked some more established members why they joined, and what the benefits would be for those considering doing so:

"The South East has always been my home, and so when I joined eRepublik, I already had my heart on the South East. As a Congressman of this region, I have promoted the UK forums, trying to get more activity in the South East section of the forums. I have seen an improvement, due in part of a weapons programme which allows South East citizens to get a chance to win free Q1 weapons if they join the forums. The UK forums are a vital way in having strong communication and community."

"I have been involved with the South East regional forum since December 08, and was one of the South East congress members in Feb 09, it's a great place to start getting involved in the eUK and erep politics.

Being in the Special Forces i don't always live in the SE, although our new Q5 hospital means i live there whenever i'm in the eUK, but i am always lurking in there and am happy to help any new members.

There may not be many of us at the moment but everyone is always willing to help."

"The main reason I joined the South East forum to be honest was the free weapons draw.

But seriously if we can get enough people commenting on the SE forum then it could be a powerful tool to drive the community in the area forward."

Regional forums have never been higher up the political agenda. Their status was a key issue during the last Congress elections, with many candidates pledging to do their best to increase forum activity. This has led to a lively and continuing related debate in Congress Public Discussion.

This means that there has never been a better time to get involved with your regional forum, and if you live or have an interest in the South East, you'll certainly be assured of a warm welcome at ours - Register at http://forums.erepublik.co.uk/ and then visit http://forums.erepublik.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=30

We look forward to seeing you there!
