Why You Should Join the Socialist Freedom Party
Reason #2: Better Living Through Socialist Technology!
This is the second of a series of articles on why you - yes YOU! - should join the eUSA's most compelling small party: the Socialist Freedom Party (SFP).
The Socialist Freedom Party has not only been the incubator of all sorts of cool ideas like communes and independent paramilitaries. It is also the home a good deal of techno-wizardy!

Part of the SFP ethos is taking an autonomous approach to every aspect of the game. While they'd love to see a worker-managed State, they're not waiting around for leftist progressives to win a majority in Congress. And though they participate in elections at every level, they're building the e-future with their own hands.
Of course the SFP is not the only party in the eUSA to promote the idea that parties should act something like "a state within the state". The Federalists, in particular, have long advocated for "getting it done" regardless of who happens to be in the Congress or the Executive.
But the SFP has a not-so-secret techno-weapon...Comrad3!

An avowed socialist technocrat, Comrad3 brings a whole new level of awesome to the international e-workers movement. A master forum-builder, his work on behalf of the radical e-left is evident in the high quality of the SFP Forum and the Internationale Forum, the generation of daily statistics for the GOSPLAN complex in e-Russia (which, thanks to the CPSU's recent electoral victory over the oligarchs, is now really red!), and the creation of RSS feeds for all of the key leftist newspapers in the New World.
Inspired politically in RL by the Battle in Seattle, Comrad3 exemplifies the anarcho-rebel spirit that has animated so much of American labor and social history. It is the same spirit that makes the SFP an engine of change and innovation.
Comrad3's techno-wizardy, added to the likes of Osmany Ramon's commune-management spreadsheets, PQ's RWarnet (a militia-management tool) and eRep Demographics, and sdrawkcab's collection of Player Guides has put the SFP in the forefront of efforts to improve the experience of players everywhere.
