Join IRC. It's fun. Plus, I'm there. 
If you're a new player, you can ask around for assistance, info or even food there...
If you're a government official or a member of Congress, you can communicate and coordinate your activities with your peers there...
If you're a diplomat, you can chat with your foreign counterparts there...
...all in "real time".

It's kinda boring at the moment because you're not there but if more people like you came over, we can make it a more fun place.

Mibbit.com is a web site that allows you to access IRC. It's what I use because it's easy and it doesn't need me to install anything.
To access #philippines:
1. Go to http://mibbit.com/chat/
2. For IRC, choose Rizon [webirc].
3. For Nick, type your desired nickname (preferably your in-game name or a variation)
4. For Channel, type #philippines

mIRC is an IRC client (which means you have to download and install it).
I don't use mIRC. But I hear it's quite famous. If you want more info, ask someone who uses it like Philippine Congress Member Nina Ayu.

CHATZILLA. CLICK TO ENLARGE.
Chatzilla is an mIRC client that is designed as an add-on/extension to Mozzila-based web browsers (like Firefox).
You need to download it and install it first, though.
I don't use it so ask someone else who does for more info, like National Intelligence Coordinating Agency Director-General Slothen or Australian Senator Patrick Reckitt.

lol blitz. i recommend mibbit or any other web browser client for people that have never heard of IRC before. if you use it regularly, get mIRC or chatzilla (you wouldve already done that i would assume.) and if youre an IRC addict and advanced with it all then use something like kvirc for better experience^^
