Japan will fall because Taiwan has got them surrounded and Japan only has one city left. Japan can save itself by strategic planning and resistance. Japan has to conquer one of the cities on its side. If it conquers the city in the middle of Taiwan territory in Japan it will still be surrounded on almost all sides. Japan will probably fall if it doesn't take drastic movements. It will have to start resistance wars if it is wiped clean off the map.
