Foreign affairs

Neutral

Like i stressed last month and throughout my time in the MoFA Belgium must remain neutral and independent. Neutrality is our best defence against invasion. However it is also our major weakness because if we are invaded our neutrality means we have very few close allies. Therefore in my term i would like to make a step up in our neutrality and if i am elected i will work towards a policy of “strong allied neutrality” which is a policy i mentioned last month this means that we will make friends with major nations around us and build strong bonds so in the event we are invaded we will have close friends to aid us and we will not be leaving the safety of our neutrality of which Belgium is famous for. I must stress however that we will make sure we make friends with all alliances and not just one in particular. In addition to this we will also try and improve the amount of ambassadors we have to strengthen our position on the world stage as i have been doing in the past months as the minister of foreign affairs. I would also like to add that we should look into changing the way our ambassadors work and maybe change it so less people are needed as there is a huge lack of ambassadors.

Military

War War and More War

Like our previous training wars with the uk during my term i will ask the MoD to try and make sure that preparations will start being made to find another country to start a training war with as this will aid all players in Belgium to grow and gain experience.However if a training war can not be started we will need to look for a very active MPP in which there are a surplus of battles in which we can fight. I would also like to make sure that the MPP’s actually help a country in need and not just add to the damage of a country that is bound to win there wars.

Territorial Army

In my Term i would also like to look into the possibility of a Reserve force for Belgium. This will be made up of people who do not really want to be a part of the “hardcore” army and want to fight where they want when they want. They will be self funded until a national emergency when they can be called in to defend key regions of both ourselves and our friends.

Civilian army

With our newly formed Civilian Army i want to look at getting the foundations of this MU sorted so all citizens can earn bazookas and health bars.

Army Communes

This is already running very well and i would like to see this maintained in order for our hard working soldiers to get the supplies they need and maybe try and find a way to speed up supplies.
