J.D.S - Tasks and don't panic!

Day 2,119, 03:29 Published in Australia Australia by Joey Development Scheme

The eAustralian media has never been so busy during my time surfing the waves and dodging the Great Whites of this country, sadly a lot of the content in the articles themselves and the comments sections are the usual negativity and arguments. There is no brave face for eAustralia at the moment but standing on the sidelines continuing to throw stones at Government inactivity or their performances should only have one response - Apply for a Government position and show the country how it should be done instead of adding to an environment that is confusing for new players.

Well there is no hiding it - eAustralia is wiped. Despite what you may hear from the doomsayers this does not mean the end, far from it. We have been wiped before by the powerful Indonesians and we overcame the adversity and regained the whole of eAustralia, so either through diplomacy or eventual TWO intervention we will emerge back upon the eRepublik map.

So what should you do? Well move to a friendly TWO nation that shares our Military Protection Packs (MPP's) so we can still help our allies until they are in a position to help us and our New Zealand brothers. I would personally recommend Serbia but Poland, UK, Hungary and Argentina are other good options. Keep an eye on your newsfeed for shouts from your Government about any Resistance Wars (RW's) that will be planned, they cost 10,000AUD per person and require ten citizens to back them before they can begin. So as you can see they are very costly which is why you will not see one per day suddenly spring up, it also explains why it is best to wait for a Government lead push that has the backing of our TWO allies.

What else can you do? Complete you daily orders and save your bazooka's and energy bars because soon enough you will need them. One thing you can rely on will be plenty of True Patriot damage when the push does come.

So, read the latest articles, keep positive and DO NOT GIVE UP.

Well here we go again, at the J.D.S we still require your assistance in keeping this helpful programme running. As you may be aware we are currently all going to have to tighten our belts but some of us are lucky enough to be in a position to help. If you have any spare food or weapons then please consider donating them to the J.D.S where every penny goes towards the future tanks of tomorrow. A huge thank you to those who have helped in the three months we have been operating.

Donations so far this month include -

2,000 AUD from ViciousDeeds
398.96 AUD from Sir_c0nstant
2,000 AUD from Claire Louise
2,000 AUD from Dr Hugh Jardon

Extra tasks means extra rewards, extra rewards means extra supplies needed which in turn means added costs. Together we can help build a better and stronger community for tomorrow.

The below tasks are designed to help new players to eAustralia and if you complete any of these tasks then you will receive 200 Q4 food and 5 Q7 tanks for each task completed. When you have completed a task contact Directors Claire-Louise or Dr Hugh Jardon and we will send you your rewards. It really is that simple because your Government really just wants to help you find your feet, there are no catches, you do not have to repay the rewards back at a later date. So, what are the tasks? -

Task 1 - Join the Australian Defence Force Military Unit - There are many benefits from joining a Military Unit including doing your daily orders set by the MU. These reward you with a 100 energy health bar and a bazooka to be used when you are a higher rank, but for now they will be stockpiled in your storage. The Australian Defence Force is specifically there to help young players - those in Division 1 and 2, and you will be regularly when you attend the ADF roll calls on the forums (more information on that in Task 10).

Task 2 - Join a political party. Playing a part in the political side is an option open to you but if you wish to represent your country in eAustralian senate then you have to be part of a political party. It also will open up doors to parts of our community you may miss otherwise. Parties can be found HERE

Task 3 - Upload an Avatar. It’s a simple as that! You can upload an avatar/edit your profile by clicking your name on the left side of the screen. Avatars have to be a .jpg image and the ideal size is 150x150 pixels. You can also ask for us to make you an avatar...details can be found below.

Task 4 - Have 15 eAustralians on your friends list. You can add people by clicking on their profile and clicking the “add friend” button on the top right of their profile. The more friends you have, the more help and support you will get, and the more you will get to know the community better!

Task 5 - Send an in-game message to the current Prime Minister (President). Our current Prime Minister is Flatty. Just pop him a quick message saying hello - he’d love to hear from you, and he doesn’t bite!

Task 6 - Reach level 15. This one doesn’t take long at all!

Task 7 - Reach Level 20. Again, doesn’t take much effort at all to hit level 20!

Task 8 - Reach Division 2 (Level 25). This will take just a little bit of time.

Task 9 - Register on the eAustralian Forums and play a part in our growing community. You will meet many friendly people who are always willing to help you.

Task 10 - Once registered on the eAustralian Forums , join the Australian Defence Force section. This is how you would receive your supplies from the ADF, by attending weekly roll calls (which is just posting a quick “I’m here” in that weeks roll call thread).

Task 11 - Complete 10 posts on the forums. Simple as that, they can be posts anywhere, about anything, so long as they adhere to the forum rules.

Task 12 - Get on IRC. You just enter your eRepublik name and you’re automatically thrown into the eAustralia IRC room!

Task 13 - Earn your first True Patriot medal. You get these by completing a certain amount of damage for eAustralia and the game will also reward you with 5 gold for achieving this.

Task 14 - Achieve your first hard worker medal. You gain this medal after training and fighting for 30 days. They don’t have to be concurrent days, just so long as at some point you have worked and trained a total of 30 days.

Task 15 - Earn 100 strength points through training.

Task 16 - Obtain your first Super Soldier medal (250 strength points). Keep training, you’ll soon get it! You’ll also get a 5 gold reward every time you get a Super Soldier medal, which you get at every 250 strength (250, 500, 750, 1000 etc…).

Task 17 - Obtain your second Super Soldier medal (500 Strength points).

Task 18 - Upgrade your free training ground at least once. Upgrading your free training ground will mean that you will gain more strength every day. To upgrade your free training ground, click on “My Places” on the top bar, then click Training Grounds (next to your companies).
The top training ground is your free one, and it costs 20 gold to upgrade to a Q2 quality training ground. We would advise that you actually wait until there is a Training Ground deal on (you’ll see this at the top of your homepage when the deal is on), meaning that you can upgrade your Training Ground for 45% less gold, so instead of it costing you 20 gold, it will cost you 11 gold. Using this training ground will mean you gain 10 strength a day, instead of 5. As proof of completion of this task we will require a screen shot of the upgrade.

Task 19 - Reach the in-game rank of Sergeant. You’ll get this one pretty quickly too!

Task 20 - Reach the in-game rank of Colonel. Just a little bit more playing this game will get you to this one.

Task 21 - Complete all tasks! Seems daunting, but with a little time all of these tasks can be easily completed.

Now we know that as a new player you won't have an avatar yet and uploading one is one of your tasks, you can usually acquire one from your political party or Military Unit. In the meantime if you so wish we will be happy to provide you with one just so you can rid yourself of the horrid standard new player one that eRepublik gives all new players.

We provide a choice of three colours and designs and you can choose whatever picture or design you like, and the three examples are featured below. So if you want one just comment below...we regularly check the comments anyway so you won't be ignored.
