It would cost nothing
What you would have to do is vote on congressional proposals which are at the heart of every decision made by the government. Pretty much nothing can be done without congress passing a proposal.

Unfortunately you have to have an experience level of 12 to go up for congress. I see that you are level 11 so hopefully in the next week you reach 12.
