It's Feasting Time!

Here's the deal. I believe some people are just buying what seems to be cheapest without doing some math here. The market seems to move on low value items, but on high it barely moves. Sometimes cheap does not mean most economical. Or, as one would say best bang for the buck!

This article will go out of date really quick and only reflects current market prices as of the time of this article.

A Look at food

L1 Food gives 2 energy : $0.06 for 1 food. This works out to 0.03 per unit
L2 Food gives 4 energy : $0.11 for 1 food. This works out to 0.027 per unit
L3 Food gives 6 energy : $0.16 for 1 food. This works out to 0.026 per unit
L4 Food gives 8 energy : $0.24 for 1 food. This works out to 0.03 per unit
L5 Food gives 10 energy : $0.26 for 1 food. This works out to 0.026 per unit
L6 Food gives 12 energy : 0.47 for 1 food. This works out to 0.039 per unit
L7 Food gives 20 energy : .80 for 1 food. This works out to 0.04 per unit

I was going to work on weapons and show the break down, but there's a lot more math to it than just market factors. Food is straight forward.

I do this to show where the market can be squeezed a bit. At current market prices, a quick analysis of my table above shows that at current prices, the best food to buy right now is q3 and q5 food. I'm hoping that this article also helps sharpen the competition across the board.

As a further note, as stated before, don't try to do a per unit cost on the weapons. At first, it seems straight forward, but there's also an energy savings. For instance, sometimes when using my bearhands I use up most of my energy just slapping a q7 around. However, if I used a q7 tank, I usually only use 10 energy. I will research and do the math in a later article on how this breaks down.

For now, go eat some food!
