It's a Crazzzy World: A HEMish Update

There's a phrase somewhere out there that involves a carriage getting ahead of the horse, which I presume to metaphorically represent a person when they move out of pace from the speed they should be. The opportunities I have had since my return only a week ago often make me ponder whether I am likewise moving out of sync from the speed I should be, but if that's so I shall consider it a boon rather than a shortfall.

I have been honored recently with a Cabinet position from the Prime Minister. Whilst my role is a junior one, I would dare to assume that very few newly returned members are donned with any such role, so I am privileged to be serving as...congressional news reporter! Woot! For anyone who is reading this and may be interested in Congressional news, I assure you that I shall have a report published hopefully tonight, but perhaps tomorrow at the latest. Again, I can't express the enthusiasm I have for this task and my hope that I can be an asset to this government!

The second portion of the exciting yarn I am attempting to spin is regarding EPIC. I am a proud member of EPIC and I am extremely excited to be participating in the EPIC Debate among my other Vice Presidential contenders. I want to serve as Vice President because I feel a newer presence can breath fresh air into stale ideas, and allow another perspective to examine and refine good ideas within the party.

My Vice Presidential agenda will entail being consistently active and providing constructive criticism toward whomever our party elect as President. Obviously the role of a Party VP is fairly liquid, so I hope to be able to more firmly express some of my opinions and thoughts on the role during the debate within the context of specific questions.

I hope that anyone who is interested will attend said debate, if nothing else it will be an exemplary occasion on which to submit pointless and ludicrous questions to our moderator, which we may very well be subjected to. At 6:00 PM EST @ #EPICan. Be there, or be square!

I have to say, I am exceedingly and increasingly enjoying the auspicious opportunities I have been given by the people of this country. You guys are all great, even if you just read my newspaper (which could be a privilege, or a pain...not yet sure 😉 )
