Issue 75: Thank You TUP!

Hello TUP Members and eUK citizens,

I am malta_1990. Some may know me Minister of Information & Education, as Congressman for the North East or simply as a fellow citizen. Yesterday, with a voting presence of 45%, my fellow TUP members showed their trust in my experience and loyalty to the party with 102 votes, despite it being a one candidate election. This shows that our party's activity levels are quite extensive. I am glad to say that this is very different to the state of the party when I joined many months ago. Thankfully, with the the leadership of both Hassan Pesaran and Squiddy, and with the support of the many people who have helped TUP, we have moved from a barely active party to a hub of eUK politics.

Now, onto my first order of business - Congressional Elections. These will be held on the 25th of February. As always, here at TUP, we aim to ensure that our country's citizens receive the best support from their Regional congressmen and fair representation in the House of Commons. Therefore, I am asking all those interested in running for congress to send me a private message with their citizen name, link to their eUK Forums profile, the reasons why they are running and the region they intend to run in. This should be done by Sunday at the latest. Remember, the House of Commons is on the forums, so if you are serious about running, you must be committed enough to sign up to the forums.

On a sad note, our Media Executive, HazzN, shall be resigning from his role due to real-life commitments. He has been an amazing person to work with, both within TUP and government and I feel we owe him gratitude greater than we will ever know or he will ever admit. Thank you HazzN and Good Luck!
