Sorry for the recent lack of articles, I've been busy with real life and didn't have time to write one. However, I did attempt to write one last night but gave up because it was getting quite late. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

New Government Newspaper

The shadow government has come up with an idea to broadcast messages across our nation, this is by the formation of their new newspaper that is called "BundesPresseDeinst", there are links above to their first two articles. It may be used in the future by future presidents, it may be a presidential paper but Hedera will have no access to it - for many reasons, including the obvious one.

It will broadcast mainly government news, i.e. news from the Ministry of Defence, news about achievements of the Austrian government, update the nation on fights that we can take part in abroad and so forth.

Treasury

Since last week, we have been in the process of trying to make our treasury larger or trying to make it into a size that is good enough for a country. It's been a great job so far with over 150 gold donated in the last week. Great Job eAustrian citizens, I would also like to praise all others who are abroad who helped in this amazing campaign to help eAustria.

A law proposal was passed earlier to transfer 1700 PLN to the Austrian Central Bank, this adds up to an additional 35 Gold. We received this when Poland gave us our regions back.

Party President Elections

The party president elections went almost as planned for the Shadow Government, we now basically control 4 of the 5 main parties in eAustria: Austrian Independence Party (OIP), Kronloyale Union (KU), Socialist Party eAustria (SP) and Opposition (renamed to Illuminus Austria (IA)).

All true eAustrians are encouraged to move to any shadow government controlled parties.

Rangeley became PP for the Austrian Independence Party,
Borojevic Von Bonjar retained PP for the Kronloyale Union,
Saalko became PP for the Socialist Party Austria,
Tohru became PP for Illuminus Austria.

Hungary

We are being invaded by Hungary as an attempt to rid Hedera from Austria. However, many are now starting to believe that Hungary is also attempting to invade in order to help another country - not ours. They have invaded to help Slovenia have a passage towards Poland.

Yesterday the popular belief was that Hungary was doing it to protect us from any further attack, now it appears that they don't really care for eAustria - as usual.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Today I had a meeting with the Serbian president regarding an alliance with eAustria. We came to an agreement: if Austria is attacked by an EDEN or non-Phoenix country then Serbia shall send troops north into Austria in order to fend off the attackers. Both parties came to the conclusion that due to Austria's bleak financial position, it would not be a good idea to initiate an MPP at this current moment in time. The president of eSerbia believes that both the Czech Republic and Austria should have at least 1 MPP with another country.

Russia has declined a renewal of the Mutual Protection Pact with eAustria due to the crisis going on right now.
