Burgenland was secured by Hungary in a war against the resistance troops earlier today. This comes as a blow to Austria's complete reformation as a country.



German has recovered one of her regions. The region of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania was secured by the resistance force against Sweden and was transferred back to Germany. Two of its other regions were secured by the defending countries.



Kaiser Alex kindly accepted an interview with us and it was conducted yesterday night. In tomorrow's issue we will post you the interview we conducted with Hedera, opposition to Kaiser Alex of the NFA.

We're going to discuss what you will do when and if you become the president of Austria. What'll be your primary focus?

Well, that would be the welfare of the ordinary citizen. That has many implications, for instance, I think elitism should be the main enemy of the government. Say if you are a hard working citizen, the amount of time you have been playing and the people you know shouldn't affect how well you do in ePolitics. In eAustria it is easy for someone who is hardworking to rise through the ranks, I wish for that to stay the way it is and fight against elitism at every turn. Another implication of the welfare of our citizens is a hospital, while we already have one placed, I would push for another in Vorarlberg to ensure we have a backup incase of war.

What about the defence system of eAustria?

Well, its no secret that the military is in chaos. It has been changed around, name changed, re-enlistments and then finally a resignation to boot. The handling of this situation (especially the resignation) by the current administration was less than commendable, and it shouldn't of happened. I think we need to get a routine worked out, and then implemented, as constant changing only causes trouble. If elected I will make sure that my MoD candidate, Prince of Austria gets back our old regiment system and works everything out.

What alliances would you propose if you become the Austrian president?

I would first and foremost see if our nation would be allowed to join SoL as it will benefit us greatly. We will have a daily training war, yet retain all aspects of peaceful relations with both major alliances. After all, isn't the main argument against neutrality that we never have any wars to fight in? I believe it is, and that means we have time for other things. I don't however rule out joining Phoenix, I think we should see how our whole population feel about it, then see what our congress members think, and then I will make a decision.

So you would propose a nationwide referendum? What do you think about Immigration to eAustria?

A nationwide referendum yes, exactly.

I think immigration to eAustria can only be beneficial, if kept in check. We have some great people who emigrated here, and the more the merrier. However, if we don't keep immigration in check, I think we are liable to a PTO attempt. This is something again, the current administration has lapsed on, meaning honest citizens have to take matters into their own hands.

On the other hand, what do you think about Immigration from EDEN and enemy countries like Croatia, the USA and Hungary?

Well, I dont think individual citizens should be judged on their government actions, therefore if Croatians want to come to our country we should do a background check, to see if any of them have been involved in PTO attempts, apart from that, I say let them in. Hungary just to confirm isnt an "enemy" country, we are only at war with them due to landswaps, so they should be fine to enter out country.

I hear you have quite a lot of enemies, what do you have to say to them?

I have some enemies, but generally they are misinformed and do themselves harm by trying to insult me. A lot of them simply have no understanding of the game nor wish to learn, so I just laugh at them.

What changes would you make to the economy, if any?

The Austrian economy, well its not my strong point, but I would like to see a couple of state owned business's running around. I already have a business that helps low level workers, paying them a better than average wage and aiding them in anyway possible. Apart from that, the economy will be directed to other ministers.

What are your main goals?

Well, I would aim to start a non stop media campaign to attract more players to eAustria. I would enlist the help of Wilhelm, who has experience in this field. As, with more population, more power essentially comes with it. I would like to see our economy return to pre-war levels during my term, something which I will enlist the services of our excellent MoF stoneman. Our economy must be the pillar, of our country. I would like to see Burgenland returned in my term too, and I think that is most certainly achievable.
