Is War Not a National Event?
Did you know that we're at war with Ireland both directly and through our alliance with Canada?
Do you not think that war, any battle that we are in, ought to be considered a national event?
Luckily for us, the MPP/Alliance-triggered event of Ireland attacking Canada is NOT a real conflict. If it were, would the average citizen be aware of it enough to fight? Probably not.
So, VOTE THIS UP if you want an Alliance-triggered battle to be listed as a NATIONAL EVENT!

the MoD already said they werre setting up a training war. and most people would know thru lookin at the military status.

Voted. I wish there was a way to make it post as a war game too. I saw some new players that were upset because we weren't angry at Ireland for invading us.
Of course, it only takes a few seconds to read the newspapers, but for some reason people just don't.
Now we just need to convince all of our citizens to stay active, move to NJ or FL and fight. Pacifists are free to move out of the US.

I fought for Canada yesterday, only minutes before the training battle came to eUSA, I thought, there has to be some MPP I can use to fight.

It might not directly affect us as a result (win or lose, real or fake, the US would not gain or lose land here), but it is very much a national event and should be regarded as such.

@ davyzeng1: I didn't intend this to be a complaint. This was a friendly suggestion that I wish for them to consider. It shouldn't be too difficult to code, so I want them to see overwhelming support for it when the consider the cost/benefit of adding it.
