Dear eRepublik Team,

This will not be one of many spam article, this will be article with constructive ideas and explanations, so read it, please.


I wrote it to say you to be more professional. No, you are not professional enough.

You made many mistakes in "Game Management", and I'll mention some of them and give you solution how you could make it better, and how you can make it better in the future.

First of all, I have to tell you that people loved this game because of its SIMPLICITY.
The game progress was clear, player's way forward was clear and simple, and it was simpler for you to maintenance whole game.
And all your decisions before implementing citizenship were well.
Citizenship was last good implementation.
And after that, game was still simple, interesting, and pretty completed.

Then you tried to make it better, and implemented "extra training".
That made game little harder, and make it little worse, but that wasn't so bad because that made you bigger profit, and destroyed monotony in game.
When you saw than many people spent more money, you decided to bring them something newer than NEW.
Something that will be quite sweet, and that will suck more money.
This time you decided to bring us whole new "better" game.
And this was the biggest mistake until that moment - you decided to destroy simplicity which brought you so many players with all their money.
I understand that move - You will invest in something that should be nice and get money just because that is nice.
Get more money in short time!?
This was just a fast move, but in such a big project as eRepublik, fast moves are always and bad moves too.

Ok, you invested your money and time in something really big and different, which will not certainly succeed.

At the middle of realisation V2, you saw that this isn't so good move (!!!), but you have decided to continue.
And continuation with "bad ideas" was bigger mistake than restoring whole system.
That was the biggest mistake until this moment.
The proof that you saw your mistakes was implementing "food consuming" module instead of gifts.

And after all those spent hour, after all those players who left the game, you decided to make new changes and save as much as possible.
And this is not good idea.
If you want to bring the simplicity back, then don't implement new test modules - just bring the pure simplicity back.


We don't need quests and missions, because this is not the game which we liked.

We liked to kick the wall, but more interesting is walking on battlefield and kicking enemy without boosters(!!!) - don’t remove it.

We don't need just one profession, we need 3 or 4 - for buildings, for weapons, for raw and for food.

We don't need time management! You limited us with that - Before V2, eRepublik was played during whole day, and in V2, eRepublik is played just couple of hours, once in day.



We need game which is similar to RL, but simplier!



Because you made so many mistakes, there is not any way to correct it, so I suggest you:
-To restore game to last V1 day
-To keep current money condition for each player (company, opened orgs too, gold, currencies)
-To pay players difference between strength and skill which they have now and which they had in last V1 day (in gold)



Some time ago, when I was active player, I made small forecast for this game.
Some big things have really happened, some minor haven't.
But I basically hit what would happen.


There are many experienced browser based game players who played more browser games and have really good ideas and realy big expirience.

Give them chance and make this game realy good.
