Is a Romanian takeover good?

Is Transnistria better off part of Romania? Let us all ask ourselves truthfully. The Moldavian economy isn't that good, but the Romanian economy is. The Moldavian marketplace is almost always empty, which is bad. People who want to move from the country can't because there are no moving tickets for sale. Also, there is no president. So is staying independent good? Well, it doesn't look good. Joining Romania might sound bad but if it will make us richer, why not? I haven't been supporting Romania taking over Moldavia, but now I have to face the truth. Moldavia is better off part of Romania.

I suppose it's true that living in Romania would be a better situation if you look at it by comparing number of items sold or jobs offered. But how can you use this logic on Moldavia and forget the rest of the world? Then shouldn't the USA just take control of Israel, or Indonesia capture the rest of Australia? The fact is there will always be better off countries to live in, we keep these smaller countries because it gives a chance for new players or those with less time available to still be involved and make a impact in the eWorld.
apologetics. We have the congress. We'll reunite with romania wheter you like it or not.
like oarecare said 🙂
@oarecare. Who is funding the take over?
That's a good question Jamie Carter.
So far donations for take over have only come from individual donors and 85 gold of the 'donations' has been in the form of loans according to Ochireci's report. The Romanian government is supposed to help but Romania has a lot on it's mind besides Transnistria and 270 gold is a lot of money to spend to gain a medium grain region no matter how rich you are, especially in the light that it would only take a little more than 50 gold for another resistance war to start here, which if successful, would put the provincial movement in this region back to square one. The game is set up to favor independence, which is why a strategy of unification through alliance would work better (assuming friendly foreigners weren't driven away, since a permanent community of friendly foreigners would be extremely useful both politically and economically).
So far donors from both sides have built 2 organizations (10 gold) 2 parties (80 gold) and 2 companies (40 gold). This is in addition to investments represented by Skill 0 - tickets, Huha (Q2 food), and Gifts from the Dniester.
Asking for donations to help destroy all of this is understandably difficult.
All countries do have their own culture, I think a takeover is only opressive if it forces the region to lose its cultural independence. You may be right but there is no way to know how eRomania would treat the region.
