Hello eIreland!

After playing around for a while with the Political Party mod (figuring out how membership, editing, and Ads work) the new “Irish Libertarian Party” is now officially launched. The Libertarianism is the dominate “social” characteristic of the vast majority of parties in the New World. Indeed, in the eUnited States, the “Libertarian Party” was one of the most successful for months and months.

But to understand what our party will stand for—one must comprehend what the word actually implies. Libertarians hold civil liberties and individual rights as the most cherished gift. Governments should not be able to take these freedoms away; Government is sworn to protect freedom of speech, freedom of worship, etc. For the most part, Ireland has done a great job protecting her peoples’ freedoms—so this isn’t that pressing of an issue.

What the Irish Libertarian Party aims to advocate is Peace. Libertarianism, by definition, rejects the war machines of the states. Our party supports the defense of eIreland—but we support no aggressive wars against the eUK. The last CP elections, candidates outright against attacking the eUK were virtually unrepresented. When considering an issue that could, in the worst case scenario, wipe out our country…I think we can all agree the voters should at least have a “Dove” choice on the ballot.

Many citizens want to go to war—and consequently the ILP might not be so mainstream. Yet still, it is important in democratic processes to have choices. Libertarianism denotes Peace. eIreland is above the eUK’s schoolyard taunts and trolls. Let’s not fall to their level. eIreland will defend herself—but we will never be the bully. Indeed, when we joined the Brolliance, we forever swore off the imperialism of PEACE, ATLANTIS, EDEN, and PHOENIX that has ravaged the world. Let’s not go back on that pledge.

Luckily relations between Ireland and the eUK have improved somewhat from a month ago. Still, the last thing we need in a time of dying population and the chaotic transition to V2 is an aggressive war against the eUK.
