Irish Colony Backs Down

Day 1,145, 15:24 Published in United Kingdom Ireland by John O'Melveny
After showing an unusual display of balls, the British Oversea Territory of Ireland has backed down on its declaration of war.

It seemed Ireland had finally decided to try and regain the pride that was stripped of it after being annexed, losing all political parties, sovereignty and companies (temporarily), but the House of Irish Commons has voted the proposal down.

This is good news for the UK, as we can firmly concentrate on our allies, and the Bremen Colonial Flag continues to be flown over Western Britain.

It is believed the war declaration on Britain was provoked by the recent discovery that Ireland is, in fact, a bad rip off of Wales, with the fact that Guinness is a Welsh invention coming to light, and the fact that St Patrick was a Welshman also coming to the fray.

And so the Bremen Colony of Far-West-Wales continues to be held by its proud British masters.
