IRC For New players/IRC pour les Nouveaux Joueurs

1. Connect to IRC
IRC stands for "Internet Relay Chat". To connect, you can either download an IRC Chat Client (IceChat is a decent one), or you can go to this URL:
http://tinyurl.com/c8dfj6.


2. Register your nickname
It is recommended not to use your erepublik password on IRC, if you do and it gets out somehow, someone can take over your account.

From the server window/tab or any active channel, do the following:

/msg NickServ REGISTER **Password** **Valid Email Address**

NOTE: Replace **password** with your desired password and **email** with a valid email address, you need it for verification
Check your email for a verfication code, then type
/msg nickserv CONFIRM **Code**

3. Verify your nick when you login to IRC
After logging in, from the server window/tab or any active channel, do the following:

/msg NickServ IDENTIFY **Password**

NOTE: Replace **password** with the selected password from the previous step

3. There are 2 main chat rooms for eCanadians. #eCan and #eCanSp. To join #eCan you can type, /j #ecan
To join #ecansp, please type /j #ecanspverif and then ask for further instructions from there.

2 Enregistrez votre pseudo
À partir de l'onglet serveur tapez ceci:

Note: remplacer le password par votre mot de passe désiré et email par votre addresse couriel à des fins de vérification.
/msg nickserv CONFIRM **code sent**

3. Vérifiez ensuite vos courriels

Après ceci, tapez le code suivant dans n'importe quelle fenêtre afin de vérifier votre pseudo :
/msg NickServ IDENTIFY **password**

Note: remplacer le mot password par votre mot de passe précédent.

Il existe deux canaux principal #eCan and #eCanSp. Pour joindre #eCan vous pouvez tapez: /j #ecan
Pour joindre #ecansp, tapez /j #ecanspverif et demander des instructions là bas par la suite.
