Hi All

This is my first article in my new paper, so welcome and thanks for reading.

Having been in eUK for a couple of months I've been thinking for a while I'd like my own voice but couldn't think what angle I'd come from as there are already so many good publications out there by people who have been around for a lot longer than I.

Well I came up with the New Ideas Time.
I'd like my paper to be a hybrid between articles I write and discussions using the comments below.

I'd like to be able to sound out ideas and potential strategies with new and old players alike where everyone's ideas are as valuable as the next persons no matter what they've done in the past.

As a new publication I'm not totally sure how things will work out but I'll try and bring a new idea or area of interest with each edition for others to then comment on and discuss.

If people post their ideas on the subject that could help eUK they can be debated by people and if new ideas come up and certain topics seem popular enough then I'll start a new edition for discussion on them.

With us yo-yoing between holding none and 6 or 7 regions recently we are in very turbulent times, combined with the recent baby boom I feel there is an opportunity to set some strong strategies to help eUK to flourish.
In order to find these best strategies and then action them we need people to buy into the plan and for them to do that they need to be consulted on the ideas and that is where I feel this publication can help.

I'd also like to help new players because being relatively new myself I know how tough those first few days can be but also they bring fresh ideas and are very valuable.
With that in mind anyone less than an a week old reading this if you comment below with any ideas or just giving your birthday I'll send you some health.

My first idea is around congress and how we vote in our congress members each month.
Many people simply blindly vote in a candidate they are told to vote for each month by their party. But who actually knows what those congressmen have done or them?
I strongly feel they need to be held more accountable and should be running because they want to improve our potentially great eUK nation and not be just in it for the gold.
With this in mind I feel people getting voted into congress each month should be paying a tax from their 5 gold they receive, 1.5 gold back to their party as a thank you for helping them get into office and 1 gold back to eUK as a thank you to the people for trusting them to be active and add value to the nation.
This extra income for the eUK would be good to boost funds to help provide tanks and food to the needy and would also be a good boost to parties for similar activity.
It would also actively encourage parties to provide strong candidates to try and win the gold and would also be an incentive to the whole or eUK to hold as many regions as possible to get as many members of congress as possible.
