Introducing the USWP Militia Program

Mission Statement

The USWP Training Division is a homegrown instructional unit designed to assist new players in the basics of eRepublik combat and to help with citizen retention. As a result of a variety of factors, eUS citizens are signing up to joined the armed forces at an astounding rate. The USWP TD is designed to augment the current training capabilities of the official TC without requiring government funding.

Since parties often have more direct contact with their members than does the eUS government, political parties are uniquely positioned to educate interested citizens in the art of war and the general structure of our armed forces branches.

All new players are welcome to join the USWP Training Division, and encouraged to apply if they would like to learn how to prepare for service in the eUS armed forces. We remind all those joining however, that this does not take the place of current Training Corp training and will not allow you to move further in the military without first completing the Training Corp program. This program is designed to give you a basic understanding of war in eRepublik and how to fight.

Structure

The USWP TD will be a single division encompassing ONE company. The company will have FIVE platoons, and each platoon will have TEN members each and will be under the direct supervision of a lieutenant.

Procedure for Boot Camp

The Platoon Leaders will send out educational material to their new recruits. As the recruit responds with an indication that he/she understands, he/she will be given new material. Once a platoon member has acknowledged receipt of all documents, an exam will be given. A passing grade will allow the platoon member to graduate from the USWP TD and will receive five Q1 weapons as a reward.

USWP Training Division Ranks

It is important to know that your rank in the USWP TD is not necessarily the same as your in-game rank.Your in-game rank is a reflection of how much damage you have done and how much you are capable of doing. Your USWP TD rank is a reflection of your authority within the branch. These ranks are not applicable to the eUSA military in any way.

IRC

All USWP TD members are invited to join the #uswp-militia IRC channel (on the Rizon server) for real time conversation with other members.

If you are new to IRC:

1. Visit http://rizon.net
2. On the right side of the main page, click "Launch Rizon IRC"
3. On the next page, enter your eRepublik name and enter the channel you wish to enter (#uswp-militia for example)
4. You will now be on the IRC Channel you selected.
5. To register your nickname, type "/msg NickServ register NAME" (Where NAME is your nickname) The server will guide you from here.
6. Subsequent logons will require you to verify your nickname, type "/msg NickServ IDENTIFY
