Introducing The Anarchist Cabal

The Mission Statement of TAC.

"Anarchism as a political philosophy seeks to dissolve all forms of authority and power, and if possible, wishes their complete abolition.

"Anarchists work towards a society of mutual aid and voluntary co-operation. We reject all government and economic repression."

The Anarchist Cabal is a brand spanking new eRevolutionary party. Our goal is Anarchy. To achieve this we intend to gain a large enough control of the government itself through democratic elections. From there we shall abolish as much of the state as is possible whilst retaining the capability of preserving our new society that shall be built upon the principles of the individual, liberty and voluntary co-operation instead of forced participation.

There shall be no more taxation.

Tax is theft. The people do not give it up voluntarily, they are coerced into doing so. And what are these taxes spent on? On increasing the damage of our political and military elite in foreign wars. Taxes are exploitation. They must and will be abolished.

There shall be no more national government.

The House of Lords will be abolished completely and will cease to exist in any form. The commons will also be eroded. It's sole purpose will be to abolish already existing laws and to preserve our anarchist utopia.

Regional councils will be the new order.

That is regional councils and an order that operates through consensus and voluntary democracy. No man or woman will be obliged to accept the will of any other unless they choose to do so of their own free will. Our society will be one of voluntary cooperation not forced participation.

Imperialism will not be tolerated.

Superalliances and their imperialist agendas are oppressive and are offensive to all liberty loving peoples. As such an anarchist eUK shall have no business with them and will encourage their abolition.

Elitism shall be no more.

All people and all nations are equal. All forms of elitism shall be done away with.

These are the principles we believe all Anarchists share regardless of other beliefs. We aim to unite Anarchists not divide ourselves over petty arguments. Together united, we'll never be defeated. We urge all who share these ideals to come and join us. Together we will build a society where the individual will be his own master and control his own destiny.

I think this is a good idea, but how are you going to fund the regional councils without taxes? What will be your source of income?

The newer newer order as a true anarchist is not only no national governments but no regional councils as well. 😛

Imperialism is the point of the game I would have thought. Otherwise why work and what is money used for? o_0

As with a lot of other RL ideas, eRep offers an awesome venue to explore these ideas. Most notably beneficial is that individuals cannot exert any real control over each other in eRep. You can't steal (beyond hacking, which is ban-worthy) or otherwise threaten another e-citizen's life. So there's no worry that abolishing government will lead to increased crime or anything.

The problem comes with other countries. Now, a number of nations get along fairly well enough without getting entangled in alliances and wars (it's war-driven as much as you make it, which governments of big countries tend to do a lot) for the most part. The eUK doesn't have that luxury. Abolishing federal government and taxation leaves the state wide open to take overs, especially as the best militaries become more centralized and organized.

But it would be incredibly interesting to see such an attempt have a real go of things. Taxation provides the base of a state military. However there are plenty of militias funded by individuals and most governments still rely heavily on donations and individual cooperation. There's no reason a decentralized government couldn't work as long as it was still organized and relayed information effectively to its citizens.

It is not possible to fully abolish the national government in eRep. You must simply run every month and hope a leader who espouses similar virtues continues to get elected. It's unfortunate people are less willing to undergo such incredible experiments. If not here then where else?

@Engineer - Regional councils aren't funded through taxes now so if anything it'll be easier to fund them.
