Introducing Liberty Bank, an option for the entrepreneurs of the game to get a loan or develop a savings account. Why would I risk making a loan program? Well, I'm going to keep players honest to their loan because of my low interest rates and how easy it will be to pay it back. Let's use an example to clarify to those who may be interested.
Say for example that you have 1 Q1 Food company, 2 Farms but still require one more Farm to maximize your production with worker-managing without having to buy extra raw materials from the market.
That's where I step in! It costs 500CAD for one Farm, and using our current figures we could lend you that 500CAD with only a 9% interest! So you would only need to pay back 545CAD!
Now the part about how to easily pay it back! Once you get your Farm, and you start to produce Q1 Food all on your own. (With the current bonuses I think) By producing 160 Q1 Food a day, you can sell it on average for 0.04CAD each. That's 6.4CAD per day. By working 85 days in a row you will have roughly enough to be able to repay your loan for next to no effort! By doing this, I am able to make you more productive and in the long run richer, while I profit just a tiny bit to all help our efforts grow.
Here are our current lending rates:
500 - 999CAD = 9% Interest
1000 - 1,999CAD = 8% Interest
2000CAD - 2,500CAD = 7% loan
2,501CAD- 5000CAD = 5% loan
5000CAD += 3% loan

No fixed term as long as it's reasonable.
You expect someone who can't afford 2.5 gold to buy a farm to work for 3 months straight and pay you back?
I like the idea of helping people, but I foresee a lot of defaults on loans.
Well, I've got a lot of CC, and that was just an example. I can loan 8500 CC or more.

You forgot to take the work tax and VAT into account.
$6.40 in sales is $6.10 once VAT is removed.
At best, the work tax is going to cost $2.39 when a player WAMs - 5% of the current average wage of $26.54 is $1.37 and on top of the food company the worker will need 80% of the FRM of a fishery, the most cost effective FRM company.
That makes for total daily profits of $3.70 (when rounding is taken into account only at the end) and would require 147 days to repay that $545 loan.
Actually, it's even worse than that because working those companies will require 9 of that 160 Q1 food.
Self-sufficiency just isn't what it used to be. While the price of gold isn't either, medal earnings can still go a long way to feeding a player. One 5 gold medal at $175 per gold (the approximate price at the time that I'm writing this comment.) is $875, enough to buy 21,875 $0.04 Q1 food. That's over 135 days worth of production without having to work.
The cheapest Q1 food company set up is 17 gold (Q1 food company bought at 9 gold plus that 80% of a fishery for FRM). If we're only comparing production against buying goods off the market (which is not the same as profit so this only works when looking at self-sufficiency) that 17 gold is equal to $2,975 for 74,375 Q1 food equivalent to 465 days of production. I'm starting to doubt that the game will last that long.

Sorry, it just can't be said often enough. Paltry earnings from companies are nearly useless. Maximize your training gold earnings first! As an added bonus, you'll get stronger, faster.
