Intro to Training Wars

Day 2,767, 07:38 Published in Australia Australia by Merovingiano

As you may or may not have heard the Department of Foreign Affairs is preparing a training war for Australia in the coming days. To read the official DoFA press release go here. In this article we'll be discussing the who, what, where, when, and why of training wars. Don't worry I'll try and make this as brief as I can.

What is a training war?
A training war is an agreed upon war between two or more countries. Terms and plan of attack are discussed ahead of time and precautions are made to prevent the loss of Mutual Protection Pacts (MPP's).

Who is participating in this training war?
Australia and South Africa. Rusty, our MoFA, is talking to our friends in NEBULA to see if they'd like to be involved.

When and where will this training war take place?
South Africa will be attacking Western Australia in about 24 hours on day 2678.

Why have this training war?

Medals medals medals.
Battle hero medals are worth 2-5 gold. True patriot medals are worth 1000 CC. Resistance Hero medals for releasing regions at the end are worth 5 gold.

It helps strengthen the relationships of the countries involved.

Players have the opportunity to earn patriot damage for their country while practicing coordinated tactics.

And in our case, this training war will help finalize our region rental deal with Peru.

Most importantly EXCITEMENT! This game can get mundane without something to mix things up.

UPDATE: South Africa has agreed to try and make sure we have as many regions as possible for the coming congressional election.
