Words Before the Interview
Many of you don't know morningblur. I don't either. However, I've seen some of his comments on articles, and I agree with almost everything he says. I was looking to know more about him, so I came up with this. I wanted to get out of my routine article so here it goes.



Interview
Me: How did you find eRepublik?

Morningblur: I played a game called Evony, saw a request for players one night in the forums there so since I couldn't remember my info from beta and that account was dead anyway morningblur was born.

Me: For those people who don't know you, tell us a little about your eLife

Morningblur: I play the game as far outside the system as I can. I fully self fund everything I do. This allows me complete freedom to do and say what I please as I owe no one or any group my allegiance except to the EUSA as a whole since it is my chosen home here. I sit in the LIBS to keep other parties from spamming my box and I joined their MU to get the energy bar and bazoka. In return I certify for congress so they have one less blocker to have to find.

Me: What has been your greatest achievement?

Morningblur: Would have to say that my personal achievement would have to be playing to Field Marshal back in V1. Collectively it was when we pushed PEACE completely back out of North America.

Me: What are your biggest goals?

Morningblur: At this point in my e life I'm going for God Of War. Also I want to stick around long enough to see the United States ranked number 1 again too.

Me: I happen to love the way you speak, what fuels your comments on articles like Pizza the Hut's?

Morningblur: Pizza/Ajay is a joke and has been since V1 when he was known as Ajay Bruno. I'm a real life conservative, but I have the intelligence to know that conservatism does not work in this game. He spouting off like he does gives us all a bad name and I take personal offense to that. This game is probably the only place in the world big government and socialism work. He is just too blinded by idealism to see that. However he is not content to just be an idiot by himself he goes out of his way to try and infect new players with his idiocy. So I feel the need to call that out. Also since I'm as far from an elite in this game (protip..there are no elites in a browser game, just the perception) me going after him takes away his go to defense of playing victim to the elite. He can't defend his record so he just spouts more BS.

Me: Have you ever run for Congress?

Morningblur: No, I have served as a blocker a few times but running a company in real life doesn't give me the time to devote to office. Although it is my slow season so never say never there, I'm not opposed to office just have never been asked to run and won't take it upon myself to do so. People who run because they want to are stroking there own ego's just like Pizza. When you are asked by others then that is service.

Me: What do you think about Oblige's term as President?

MorningblurOblige has done a great job. It's a thankless job and there will always be critics. I just won't be one of them. Downtalking a sitting president does no good and just reeks of political motivation.

Me: What do you think he has done best?

Morningblur: Just look at the map. Anytime we have our regions and are on the offensive it's a good term.

Me: What would you like to see differently in his second term?

Morningblur: I expect more of the same from him. Competent leadership.

Me: Is there anything you'd like to say to me or the readers of this paper?

Morningblur: Keep at it. The game runs in cycles. Today we might be up and down tomorrow, but keep going. Nothing worth doing is ever easy. You play for a reason focus on that and work towards that.

Feds Can Into Second!!!
I may be a member of the Revolutionary Party, but I'm still P/H. I left the Feds in November, but there's still a part of me there. I don't know if I'll ever return, but I would just like to congratulate them for getting into second place. I hope to see you guys competitive with the USWP in the coming months.

Also, congratulations to Oblige for getting a second term. You deserved it! I hope the next month will be just as good, if not better than the first. You had my vote. However, if you haven't voted yetplease cast your vote for Sir Gulden Draak. We can't let Pizza get second.
