The last week has held many interesting wars, that could change the course of the 4th world war.



The region, Limpopo, that EDEN RWed.


USA/South Africa:
Recently, there have been increased tensions between the eUSA and EDEN, mostly because of what happened at Limpopo, South Africa. The RW in Limpopo was the only chance to get SA back before the next congress elections, but the RW was won by PHOENIX. EDEN has now freed Northern Cape. SA is also very valuable because in V2, 3 of its regions will become Titanium, a vital and rare V2 resource. Northern Cape is one of these.


Slovenia's region swapping with Italy

Early in this war,Croatia attacked Slovenia, and wiped it off the map. Croatia had an MPP with Poland, which made an open war with Poland when Slovenia was being liberated. Slovenia then used this advantage (6 MPPs), region swapped through Italy, and attacked Poland's fortress of the Rhone Alps, which has a pop of 8500+. This region is originally French, which, if liberated in the future, would be a great blow to their Polish and Spanish aggressors. However, the latest battle for the Rhone Alps was a loss for PHX. Poland is now counter-attacking Piedmont to drive out Slovenia. Hungary has also started to go into Italy to help Slovenia.


Finland's attacks

Finland/Russia:
In a stunning act of war, Finland attacked Russia in a desperate blocking attempt, activating 21 MPPs- the whole of Phoenix. This may cost Finland its country, although they do have 5 MPP's against Russia, 4 of which are major EDEN powers. Russia has already occupied 2 regions from Finland.


Liberated French regions

France RW's:
France has regained 3 more regions from Spain and Poland, and currently has 5 regions. France still has a long way to go, but it looks like they will break free from their Spanish, Polish, and American occupiers. They have been occupied for many months now.


Liberated German regions

German RW's:
Germany has also weaken Spain and Poland's grip on it, has regained 2 regions, although the outlook for Germany is bleaker than France, with EDEN to the North, and East, unlike France, who only has Spain to deal with.

Denmark/Sweden:
Sweden attacked Denmark after the last congress elections, during a Serbian PTO. Now, with a Serbian MPP, they are fighting back, and gaining regions. This will give Germany protection against EDEN, and make it easier to get their regions back.
