International politics - French Hungarian dispute

Day 944, 10:58 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Jack Jockson

JOCKSON IS BACK IN LONDON

Halleluyah. I've been around the world this time. After the first Lionking battle, in which the world blew all the gold possible on this 17 million damage battle... it was the battle which I won by the way, still remember walking up and down the Chinese wall, guarding it, waking up at dawn every day, seeing if there was a red alert. It was when Jamesw was prime minister, Britain was doing a good job back then. After this battle, war got to a bit of a stalemate. It was hard times for a soldier. I moved to Russia and got me a promotion to colonel in North Korean training wars.

The world was bankrupt and so was my Russian employer and I had to move to Japan, and then to South Africa, the land where they make the trumpets out of plastic. The football country, I was promoted general while I was in South Africa, it only took me to train in some Croatian Bosnian training wars. Training wars are really cheap, not like this Lionking money pit at all, and I seem to get all my promotions in training wars.

It was in South Africa where I nearly missed the second Lionking battle because of all the football going on. But I was able to save me some gold working there, so upon my return to London, I bough myself a nice car.

I reckon I'll need the automobile to drive me to the parliament if I get elected. If you'd like to vote for Jockson, I'm running under SDP this month. That's the party that helps new players.

MEANWHILE, IN THE EUROPEAN BATTLEFRONT

So Phoenix won the second Lionking battle, too. Mister Woldo was Prime Minister during this one, and he did well, except for he doesn't seem to know how to hold to the conquered territory. Bloody Norwegians, I knew I should have been the head of state, we would have hold it as a piece of cake if I was. So as it happens Britain won some Norwegian territory in a Lionking distraction battle just to lose it the next day.

Look at Hungarians. Won a Rhoine Alps that day.

Pretty complicated route for Hungarians to get there.

THE HUNGARIAN - FRENCH DISPUTE

Rhoine Alps. The land rich with stone that changed hands for so many times. Poles, Slovenians, Spaniards, French, and now Hungarians, these are the folks that may benefit on wood and stone exports provided by cheap export licenses. But the country that holds the region may benefit from tax income and the word is, it may benefit big. That's where the dispute starts.

Apparently Hungary made a deal with France the other day. You can read about it here.

The word was out, that this region brings... say 10.000 gold a month or so. So Hungarians, in a display of really stupid diplomacy got all optimistic about the sum and offer French a 3 month rental agreement. A really generous offer. Only, there is no such sum of pure gold you can get out of this region. You'd have to invest there first, and there's no Polish workers there anymore, and the Spanish companies may have pulled out, whoever owns it, they'll never be getting 10.000 gold out of it. And even if they were, the prediction is all wrong, because there is no such gold there, it's only the worthless money of that sum, and worthless wood that nobody buys anymore at the same prices, and we all know you can't wage wars with money and wood. There is no pure gold in Rhoine Alps.

THE SITUATION

So now we have a situation there. Hungarians want to renegotiate the deal while French want the big monthly gold rent and a territory back after 3 months.

I ask you gentlemen of the Phoenix headquarters, a legal question about this deal:
Who are French to deal about the territory that they didn't own at the first place?
And who are Hungarians taking themselves permission to make such deal?

The negotiations are taking place this evening and as it seems Phoenix, who threw away a lot of gold liberating France will have no say in it. It is going to be bilateral talks between Hungary and France.

You know Britain, if this talks don't go well, we might be facing a new enemy across the Channel. And they bloody have the 2 million damage in battles.
