Intellectuals?!

From ancient times it was known that dominant political position distorts perception of reality, it is because the world is viewed in a mirror of own vanity. Few of those are brave and wise, and they can resist to rough capitalist logic of seeing further than the political career and personal interests. But I consider that open democratic society allow opposition leaders to speak. Ruling politicals know that opposition are not enemies but political rivals. Opposition is always a good impulse to goverment, exists to keep vague, indicating the error and acted to correct them.
If it is not allowed to speak, then we have totalitarianism, single and unhealthy social situation. Without assumption target; the way that something can be achieved; the possible sources of funding; without accountability of institutions and individuals to achieve simple and then the final objective, there is no quality development on none of the field.
Unfortunately, the reality is a little different.
The SA opposition criticizes the president for "incompetentness and unawareness", and complaint to other mandatary because of incompetentness for creating successful projects.
Of course, all this is hard to swallow for those who still think that you are the best choice, and that you only want to change things to better. They see you as a holy knights in armor who struggle against "bad government", and they not see your rugged face in the answers and behavior towards goverment. You forget that you should change the mode of speech when you speak with the president, and when you speake to the public through the newspaper. One good course of decency and culture would definitely come good.
It makes me to the conclusion that the opposition now acting intellectuals, unlike us who ARE intellectuals, and that is why we enjoy such support. But I want all of the best to opposition anyway, they only have to decide which label will they stick on them.
There is no malice in this article, I must admit that this is simply the only conclusion I can draw.
He who loses has the right to be angry!

You're missing the obvious alternative explanation for your depicted scenario - that your views do not make an impact and are therefore rejected. You can be angry all you want, but inclusion in politics has to be earned, not requisitioned. Tone down the vitriol and emphasize substance, not the empty rhetoric of incompetent authority.
I guess being an intelectual has nothing to do with proper english...
Politics does not go in that direction in which you would like and of course that this affected the way.
Very, very good article!
I'm not saying that the content is that what is good but it was a well written and well formulated article.
You can get far, far, far in erepublic if it was you who wrote that.

I don't think you are the man to tell the croatians who actually have done well job handling this country (without the SA citizens' will, and what I do mean is that you could have done it much worser). You came here from USA with your friends and your only goal is to make SA totallitarian and take the power.
Rhood - Appeal to tradition is a logical fallacy, you know. Our goal is not to take power, it is to offer an alternative to the current administration and the current blinding irrelevance of the South African people to international politics. Do you really find yourself satisfied with the current administration's service to the public? Given the degree to which this country's economy and military is stagnant disproportionate to its size and potential I'd be surprised if things could get, as you say, "much worser."
Addendum - If one could get far, far, far in erep based on the above, I'd say the fault for that lies with erep.
