I'm no good at walls of text so I'll make this brief and to the point.
Talks with eIndonesia
After an intense series of negotiations we have come to an agreement with eIndonesia regarding eAustralian regions.

Indonesia-Australia Agreement
Government of Indonesia and the Australian government entered into an agreement, which reads:
1. eIndonesia to return regions to Australia, namely: the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania
2. Indonesia will keep Western Australia and South Australia at this time
3. The Australian Government will not declare the NE to Indonesia and will not be open to support RW or RW in the territory of Indonesia.
This will be the first time in several months we will have five states that Indonesia will guarantee not to take back, so long as this agreement is upheld.

Well we only lose Grain in this deal which is pretty good, keeps a border to Brazil which gives us some safety so i think this is one of the better agreements we have seen for a while, time will tell how this all goes but so far so good.

Yesterday I showed my regret for this move. I still had plenty of respect for Australia. Until yesterday you were one of the countries that made EDEN proud.

Not really, there is a sad inevitability in this.
Is Indonesia is expecting something to happen with Brazil & they act to get some small irritation sorted away first? As usual at bargain rates.

We are still gonna be friends with most EDEN/TERRA allies, we are NOT joining ONE, we are just taking a break to see what "Bro's" we really have and assess what the options are, stop being a fool in saying we are now with Indo.
The states we are getting back have been in progress for several weeks now, it's just kooky timing it all seems to happen now.
We even used to pay a ridiculous amount of money for EMC and that proved to be a waste as EDEN only ever showed up if Europe had no battles on at the time, you have never been there as a "Bro" in our times of need for elections and such, usually just turn up when a battle is nearly won and then claim all the credit saying it was your doing.
Grow up mate and think before you type, you are making a fool of yourself and spreading utter bullshit about us, we have ALWAYS been there to help out EDEN on a constant basis, regularly showing up and helping with no gratitude, then when we need help it falls on deaf ears.
All that is happening is we are just taking a Neutral stance for a while till we sort out where we belong.

You`re not helped? Look at the map. All EDEN has problems - Croatia move to Mexico, Romania in Latvia, Norway conquered, Greece just got liberated etc.

And dont talk shit about EMC. I cant remember how many times EMC was send to fight in Australia even if EDEN prios were on different battles. And why? Because we don`t give up on our friends. We play a game and we are all here to have fun.
But SOME think they should get a lot more than the others and if things dont go as they demand they throw on a fit, they start to send insulting & accusing messages to the other EDEN countries presidents, they rage-quit EDEN and THEN we find out the real reason... they made deals with the enemy.

the fact of the matter is that for over 18 months we have been occupied long term. NO OTHER country in EDEN has had that problem. consistently offensive battles against Serbia are put as priority 1 when its a massive waste of resources and will be lost the next day.
im also saying EDEN HQ is corrupt. we were locked out our election meetings because we had a candidate that didnt want to play by EDENs Euro-centric ideology.
Ive actually been told on numerous occasions by numerous people that EDEN considers Australia a burden. I would rather be alone than with "brothers" like that.

As a former eAus-eIndo diplomat I can say now without fear of pre-empting the outcome that this wasn't a recent work in action. Our two countries had been negotiating behind the scenes for months on a deal to benefit our two countries. It was always in the interests of pragmatism that peace and trade security was far better than endless war - with eAustralia never being a beneficiary of it.
Our reasons for pulling out of EDEN have nothing to do with the recent agreement. The EDEN question was long dwelling within our populace and Senate - across political lines and interests. It was only through the continuation of lacklustre interest by EDEN HQ to help our country that dawned on swinging support to finally axe the deal.
Now, I have confirmed, along with the eAustralian officials today and other personnel of note, that the eAus-eIndo peace agreement has nothing to do with us pulling out of EDEN. However, to say I am not pleased with the extending benefits of the withdrawal would be untrue.
I'm pleased that I can retire with this finally sealed. Well done patriots. Bloody good show!

I love how some people have the gall to criticize decisions based on some higher moral ground they claim to possess, in a strategy based game no less...
I wish somewhere in eRep's api / data base there was some easy way to extract the number of consecutive days an eCountry has been completely wiped, without resource bonuses of any kind, for months on end. No doubt eAustralia would come out on top and way ahead of the next eCountry in the list.
How is a friendly nation using political diplomacy to regain some regions indefinitely, in order to have resource bonuses to work and train with, detrimental to EDEN / Terra?
How are the eAussies, taking the initiative after 4 years of unquestionable loyalty, to secure the long withheld ability to finally develop and level up at the same rate, which everyone else has almost always taken for granted, not seen as positively proactive?
How is the possibility to retain the current population, to encourage the return of some vets, or maybe even to create a baby boom, in an eCountry temporarily graced with an even playing field, not of benefit to eAustralia's friends?
Everyone acknowledges the fact that this game has changed incredibly in these 4 years. Why shouldn't eAustralia be given the opportunity to experience some of those changes the way they were meant to be played?

I can say to you eAustralian that we can be friend, I know there were so many things happened in the past but we can be stand together and respect each other if we try.
eRepublik made us a nation who make an alliance with country far away, I mean why can we be friend because we're living in close area as neighbour.
I know you will want all your region back because, as a friend we'll respect each other include giving back your native region. eIndonesia can take grain from india and Saltpeter from South Africa, almunium from India and South Africa. Problem Solved but these will take time and long strategy also diplomacy.
One thing I know, you Australian always fought bravely in your Resistance War... And occupied your regions held us eIndonesia nowhere.

No matter the outcome, at least they are willing to try. Everyone knows that it's a gamble and that some eAussies are apprehensive. You would expect that the least their friends would do is support them or give them constructive advice on possible strategies. Oh, right... didn't happen in the past, why would that happen now?
