Indo-Russian deal

Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar left for Moscow on 30 October for a three-day visit before he travels to Malaysia for the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM-Plus). The takeaway from this trip, however, is the fact that all measures are in place for India to acquire the world's most advanced anti-ballistic missile system — the S-400 from our all weather friend "Russia".
Previously known as S-300PMU-3, S-400 is a new generation anti-aircraft weapon system developed by Russia's Almaz Central Design Bureau as an upgrade of the S-300 family. It is currently in service with the Russian Armed Forces.
The S-400 is designed to protect nuclear reactors, population centres and government installations. The system can also deflect enemy missile more than 400 km away. NDTV, however, reported that the total cost of the acquisition is not known yet.

Russia had a No First Use Nuclear policy untill 2002 ish and then they changed it because the West was trying to control / dictate the terms...

when Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons (third largest namber in the world!) to Russia, they promised to help us in saving our borders.
Now they have stolen Crimea and created the war in Donbass, supporting it with weapons (like BUK, which shot the MH-17 down) and army units
To be honest I don't see Ukrainians and Russians fighting, in logical sense.
In mean they both are slavs, and the oldest russian state- Kiev rus were centered in Ukraine.
So why both the countries are fighting?You guys can totally rock the world together.
And about the Crimea, the 1954 agreement was just the rearrangement of state boundaries, and Soviet Union had full control over it.
They have every right to Crimea.

Crimea in 1954 became a part on Ukrainian SSR, which was a part of Soviet Union. In 1991 Ukraine decided to leave the Union - no reason to recall old times. Otherwise Russia then should give us Taganrog back, which was given to Russia in 192X. And Kaliningrad oblast of Russia should be given back to Germany. That's the logic: once tell someone "I give it to you, now it's yours forever" you must forget about it, unless you borrow it, but it's not "forever" then.
Imagine Germany wants Kaliningrad back, wants Danzig back, Ukraine want Przemysl back, Spain wants Netherlands back or Britain wants India back. It's crazy.
But India was never a part of Britain.
There is a difference between demanding something which rightfully belongs to you and something which was once under your control.
And about Kaliningrad, Russia defeated Germany and took Kaliningrad from it.
Netherlands was completely different matter.
No one in the world is a bigger terrorist then the US 🙂
