Join the new world

After several failed attempts, I have finally found a unit to enlist me!



I applied for a spot a few weeks ago after reading an article by my pal Gnilraps... and after a short time (due to reorganization of some platoons)I was sent a nice welcome letter by the Assistant Recruiting Officer Lt Col ChristopherEller. Cool. My usually whining and bitching was put on hold for a while... I informed the MI in my application about the limitations in my ability to get online but that I would do my best to fight every day and travel where orders send me --- and I was still accepted! Very cool.

The point being, that if you folks out there don't think you won't be accepted to a branch of the military for one reason or another, try anyway! Write them a note in your application and be honest. Just because you can't be online 24/7 is no reason not to try and join a unit.

I've registered at the military forum and I hope to report back soon that I'm finally an official part of the eUS military! It does seem that I won't be able to join the militia page (seems the last place has just been filled) so the tab on my profile for military unit will remain empty. This makes me sad. Oh well, maybe Plato will figure out that 50 people is too small for a unit and I'll get my precious tab! LOL
