Improving the game part 1

Day 2,468, 00:50 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gibbomd

So the stupid missions have forced me to do something I may have done at some point anyway. Here is my first ever article after a billion years in the game.

My first idea for improving the game is fight mechanics.

I think that we should each enter the war with two numbers, energy (as it is now) and HP. The latter can be calculated any way you like, but for the purpose of this article I will stick up the straw man figure of strength * 1000. For me that would be about 650m.

You would then be able to choose your opponent (starting list at minute 1 is the citizens of the country you are attacking, but this list would grow to include anyone who hits on the other side). Your damage reduces their HP (as well as doing what it normally does).

The difference is that once someone's HP is reduced to zero they can no longer take part in the who war (yes the whole war).

Benefits:
You could combine to take out their tanks in battle 1 and they could do the same
Entering the war for allies at the right time would be crucial (as you don't appear in the list until you fight the first fight)
Personal vendettas would arise and I would love to see a history of "you have been killed by xxx the most times"
Battles 8+ would be a question of who is left standing and would require communication and coordination to ensure that late battles are won
BHs would become expensive early, but potentially cheap late, leading to a personal vs country ethical battle

Cons:
You tell me

First article be nice
