**Edit** I did not know that you can fight for Spain from the UK. I'm new to this game and still learning. The MoD is still messed up though. I will post another article after I get out of work.
Hello Everybody!
I'm writing this article from London, France. In this article, we will find out why I'm writing this article in London, France instead of London, UK.
A lot of you have been complaining on how much the MoD sucks. At first I thought it was just overreactions and people pointing the finger, but they really do suck!
Here are some of your complaints:
This message sparked my curiosity, so I looked into it.
Here is a picture of the MoD's news, published at 11:01 server time.
It says fight for Spain in Castilla y Leon.
Here is a list of the MoD team, found at the bottom of the article.
None of our leaders were fighting in this battle. Instead of fighting in Spain, they were chilling in eFrance or the eUK. Here is proof.

We all hate fighting for eSpain. Why? We are getting our asses kicked on our own soil as I speak.
What happened while we were fighting in Spain? The Canadians won a resistance campaign (Newfoundland and Labrador). The French won a campaign in Yorkshire & Humberside. The French are defeating our resistance in London, 50 points to 5. So, we lost two campaigns and we will lose another, but we helped the Spanish!

Was it worth it? Hell no. I doubt the Spanish will ever help us out down the road.
I refuse to fight this war. Here is proof.

Exactly what I was trying to say in not so many words and the the answer I got from our MoD was shut the f**k up. Charming I must admit.
I see 3 out of 4 leaders are active in UK. They can fight from UK for Spain. The fourth one was in France. A region we lost 9 hours ago to France (about 11.00 hours CET). So in this I see no proof our leaders fought elsewhere.
We need to help allies, many Spanish did fight for us when we could win battles. There is no point fighting battles we cannot win. Now we fight against Germany in North East of England.
Orders are to fight there. We need all there!
I would like to clarify my part in this article.
At the time of writing my post on the TUPFamily wall BigAnt was indeed leading the damage count in Newfoundland and Labrador, it was during the last battle at time of writing this (11/7/07 20:55) that happened 5 hours ago, according to the timestamp on the mass message sent out by BigAnt it was sent 7 hours ago.
Last I seen of the battle BigAnt did not get the BH but he had racked up 391k damage with 23 kills.
We want answer BigAnt.
I would fight for the eUK but I used up all my health and supplies fighting for Spain. I also had to move to Poland because there is not much eUK left.
You are clearly ignorant.
Don't you notice how Canada have just as much damage as us, France has more, and USA (who hate us) are massively larger. MoD does the best it can, but we don't have as much damage as our invaders.
We had no choice but to attack Canada, once the war is opened the attacks happen automatically. By losing the RWs however, and having France take Wales and the SW, we have now removed any border we had with them so the war closed itself. As everyone else said, you can help Spain from the UK, that is what MPPs are for. Hopefully Teden will start fighting itself before ONE does and we can recover, other than that we have little hope.
We have never tried to get every active UK citizen to fight in just one battle, since I've been playing this game this has never happened, so how is it we are so badly disorganised and other countries are not. I think we could do pretty well if we were much organised and that should be the job of the MoD and accept the criticism that is said and not slag off or alienate those who do. You put yourself in a position of power you are gonna get bad comments especially in the situation we are in now.
Did not know that you can fight for Spain for the UK, but I stillI highly doubt Big Ant and Daniel fought for Spain.
I still don't think fighting for Spain was a good idea. To the person that called my ignorant.... WTF is wrong with you?
I do notice that Canada and France is stronger than us. That is why we should be focusing on those campaigns. Why should we divide our forces across three campaigns? We should focus on one campaign at time at save UK territory, two if we can handle it.
I agree, Lets try to save our self first then are friends when we have been wiped.
All i do share many of your concerns and insecurity about being wiped
but these things happens ,(my 1st 4months we wiped and occupied by efrance,ecan,eIre ) we prevailed

But we still have not learned one valuable lesson :- save ourselves 1st and worry about some one else that can defend and protect them self better then We Can

Firstly djsims, you seem to know more about the military MU + and wars then most of our current population @ 2days old. Umm interesting.
Next: AND SIGH, that you need telling this, it does NOT matter who MOD is, we would still be in this ship still following orders from ONE etc. FACT live with it.
SPAIN battle was ONE prio and more important then ours for that mini, also a fact.
You seem to forget we have 3k active, we are small and need support from our allies to survive
its easy for you to say, sod our allies fight for UK. WE CANNOT NOT WIN WITHOUT OUR ALLIES SUPPORT

Also the fact that this is again directed attacks from one "Set" of players is again laughable
also all this started before i became "MoD" infact it started from the last CP vs France to wipe when we were promised ONE support, again that day other battles occurred and so we were dropped.
Now France are hitting back. then Canada then Germany.
This has nothing to do with me, I have spent hours supplying with my fantastic team! WHO ACTUALLY CONTRIBUTE AND HELP.
you want words of leadership.. well here are my words.
You all need to Firstly GET on IRC #mod is our command room for eUK
you being "Soldiers" should be there daily, do try it,
Second, learn about the game please, you think we can take 3 vs 1? even 2vs1 ?? really do i need to pull the damage stats to show you? I can if you would like
next if you are going to sit on the fence and make BS comments about my MoD and team, please feel free to come into the IRC
So i can put you in my shoes, get you to do a busy supply for 4hrs straight, see if you can hack that DAILY. then lets see if we gain some common ground of respect.
Because that's what this boils done to guys RESPECT. you don't show it, then you expect me to give it back? Wake up and smell the coffee.
There's always the risk that nobody will help us , and instead of trying to at least fight against our enemies we were fighting for Spain ...
BTW😮ur allies should help us out seeing that we are at risk of a wipe out ?

IM angry, because I care, i spend my time helping eUK and new players eveyday. What have you done?
and don't get me wrong I take "constructive" criticism well and learn from my mistakes, but the continual BS trolling is starting to bore me, and instead of me giving you a education on how things work and about common respect for one another. I should be doing my job now

You have to earn respect, you don't just get it and you are MoD. Show us what you are made of BigAnt, make us a proud nation again and we will stand behind you. Put eUk first. If it looks like a no hope battle then switch orders but let us try first.
No one is doubting the supply skills that have been shown lately by all those involved in MoD. I can testify that tanks are shipped promptly.
I think what most peoples problem is, is a lack of understanding. Not only about the eUK's capabilities but about the game mechanics and the way that battles occur.

I will be making more articles then in this week to try and explain how things work. Its not a case of give it try first, eUK is a member of ONE and so if we are ordered to fight in an important battle we do. simply because one day (like tonight) we get full ONE prio (EoE)
it's really a case of you scrub my back and I will scrub yours.
And remember this, MoD has already spent over 250k in 4/5day trying to defend eUK
its not like we arent..

Well we are looking at a new league table for active MU's who get in the IRC
(prizes and tanks etc as rewards)
More exposure of IRC - most important for free supplies and command
continue MoD Articles etc, I have got a command Mass mail underway and anyone who runs a MU will back me up on this, we orders change, they know ASAP now via mail ingame ( not needing irc all the time)

We do not need articles criticising eachother, nor dissent amongst ourselves right now. This article is inaccurate, lessons must be learnt, our homeland battles aren't controllable and whomever has the un-enviable task of setting priorities amidst the myriad of battles happening on a daily basis in these confusing times is going to receive some unfounded criticism from some jobs-worth eventually as evidenced here. Ignore this and follow orders, our recovery starts soon.
We must help us ourselves!! don't give an easy fight.

Hello. All decisions about where and when to fight are made by me. If you have any questions about strategy, you can find me in #eUK on the rizon servers after six. If you want a general overview I post regular updates on the forums. I'm happy to explain in person any of the decisions I've made so far, and the rationale behind them. Shouting at each other in the media when you don't have the full story isn't every classy. I understand you're new!
These comments are necessary, There are people like me who can't for certain reasons get on irc or the forums. So I get my info from these articles and comments. We need more and informative info on what our leaders are doing. Doing this will show and clear up any doubts that a lot of us have with the government. Though I may state my opinions, I still follow my orders and have faith in the government.

There are some problems with the UK military like the supply problem and the selecting of the right objectives but our leaders are great they help out new players tremendously and are very active fighters BigAnt and Sir Humphrey Appleby are good examples
@djsims If you took the last few days of your eUK life to learn about basic in game mechanics rather than the usual, "I am new, I know whats best! Look I screencapped people's profiles. I AM A MASTER DETECTIVE." You might have actually learned something. Or maybe volunteer to help rather than divide the ignorant new players from the rest of the community.
I like your passion, but I disagree with your critisism of the MoD... I think in the future you could be a great player in the UK! 🙂

first of all wow I did not expect my comment to be mentioned in a newspaper. second I read through the whole of this paper and I do agree ( I know the leader have work to do but are they doing it right?)
third I have fought for our country and allies(except one or two when I couldn't).fourth I think everyone needs to know more about what our leaders are doing for us and our plans for the future and new people need to be tought more about how politics.
yes respect for the job of doing MOD but telling everyone else to fight in Spain than u doing something else yourself not on u should leader by doing it yourself too. before telling others want to do.
I don't think the problem is the fact that we are having to fight 3 enemies at once, (that is a separate problem). such things happen every now and again. There is little we could have done to avaoid it. The main problems centre around lack of organisation, lack of information & general attitude.
At present the 'call to arms' is now taking 3 days+ (from it's original once per day) even though it is meant to be 'every other day'...
... As well as not living up to the promised supply, it also causes problems re' coordination of attacks. When people see that it's dated from 3 days ago, they aren't going to check it out. Then there is the problem re' strikes, or the lack of them. Once again it appears that supply has dried up and there seems to be more interest in bantering with the 'in clique' rather than in coordination or in supplying info to explain the situation. This partly highlights the attitude problem...
...The attitude problem is also highlighted by the reaction towards many of those who have questioned the situation, (no matter how politely/objectively) or who have asked for clarification. Such inquiries are frequently ignored & those who raise them abused, ridiculed, 'told off' and patronised.
