Impeachment

Day 616, 14:48 Published in Ireland Ireland by Aran Tal

My dear friends and countrymen,

I regret to announce, in the interest of disclosure, that just now I voted Yes to Pip Kelly's Impeachment proposal of President Starks Hayter. It is worth clarifying the legalities of this issue.

An impeachment needs 2/3rds of congressmen to vote yes in order to pass.
If the vote is successful, the VP does not become president, the runner up does. In this case, that will be Nithraldur.

Should the proposal pass I would like to offer my services to Nith in whatever capacity he should choose. I feel we need some continuity at this stage and as I have been inside the administration since its ill-fated beginnings I am happy to help Nith maintain national stability.

Should Nith feel he has no need for my services, I will happily resign.

The ISRP is in trouble right now, and I am calling on all our lost members to stick with the ship, rally behind our presidential candidate whoever that may be and we can keep this country strong and free. However, party politics is not the primary concern here. I will continue to serve Ireland as a TD, if not as Vice President, and I will continue to work for our safety in these troubled times, as should all of you.

We must work with whoever sits in Áras an Úachtarán for the next eight days, I implore you, let's work together.

I hope this short word has cleared up some questions.

Much Love
