For my previous congress term, I prioritized cs passes to former eCanadians and leave the rest for others to decide, especially since were looking to return since the wipe. I'm an elitist. ;P

I believe the less congress members there are for your party the more passes, I had ten last month.

The number of citizenship passes awarded to a congress is equal to 10% of the country's population, so eCan Congress would get around 100 passes this month.

These passes are split amongst the congressmen elected. There were 40 elected so each get at least two.

I've rounded the population here and plato likely rounds down the passes per congressman.

Well do you think that would happen? Do you honestly assume people are going to look at eUS and think *wow I want in on that I've been wondering how to lose a huge chunk of our population in less than a week*?
Seriously look at the applications pending page at the reasons why people are moving , We put up with 25% for 1-2weeks because we were promised repeatedly that the taxes would be reduced asap , And they were to 5% (i could live with 5% tbh) with an addendum that they would be reduced again so we waited and waited only for congress to propose (and pass) doubling them to 10% it was a huge greedy slap in the face.
I understand peoples concerns about the sudden huge influx of people from eUS but would you have stayed under that treatment ?

USMC and ST6, two of the strongest eUS MUs, have long been friends of eCanada. When Evry started an invasion of eCanada, ST6 (despite being a US government funded MU at the time) refused to follow his orders to attack eCanada. During that invasion USMC players did damage for eCanada against the eUSA. Why wouldn't you want people like that as citizens?

So you are running from a country trying to raise money to fight TWO, to join Canada to fight TWO? Brilliant. What isn't to question about that weak story.

My personal reason for leaving the eUSA, and that of many others. But if you really want to believe that we are part of some dastardly PTO plot I suppose nothing will convince you otherwise.

foxfire, I was in US for ATO and the taxes are INSANE. I was seriously losing 100 a day due to the taxes and loss of bonuses. I had to come back. If/when the costs of food go down to regular levels the US will be screwed.

No self sufficient MU can survive it. I couldn't just by myself. Our MU producers went to Turkey when Canada's work tax was 25% and thank goodness they did.

And if our taxes go up or the US regains their regions once again,watch them go scurrying back......fed up with this part of the game.......WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN
If you want to be apart of our country you should
1....Qualify ........let e-Canada set those qualities
2... Time.............Stay a minimum amount of time (6 months)
3....Fight..............Have to have a figure we set out each week to stay here or be fined
4 Politics..........No involvement in politics for 6 months

That might sort those out that just want to come here while the times are good

Nothing that Canadians didn't do themselves when we had the unliveable tax. Congresspeople can take responsibility for their own actions and I am sure there are few that like it and a few that don't. Each one should mnake their own decision and live with whatever the consequences may be.

Well i for one never moved when we were wiped, like in RL each country should have a system in place that would stop all this hopping around from one country to another.........Just take those in that intend to help benefit the country and not for just their own gain

I didn't either but Velvet unfortunately many did. These MU's did fight for us during the Spanish occupation and honestly if it wasn't for their help and others the politicians here would still have nothing to do. Even after the NAP was signed they made us work hard for it. Canada by itself would have a problem fighting out of a wet paper bag right now. We lost too many.

I not only see this as a way to pay back our friends for past endeavours but also offering them a place that they will continue to defend.

What we need to see now is will this 1% tax level allow us to afford our existing MPP stack and help fund MU's. If it does, then GREAT, if it doesn;t and congress thinks they need to raise taxes, lets have an honest discussion about it. I was in the US when this all happened and I understand why the US MU's are annoyed, and also suffering monetary losses.

It's unfair to paint us all with the same brush , Yes i'm here for the tax haven status but if Canada raises taxes i will stay aslong as the taxes are affordable and people are honest about tax adjustment. The dishonesty and misdirection is what pi**ed us off enough to move.

Majial, many here have no problem with our American friends coming up here for the lower taxes. Some are worried that we are being taken advantage of, as we aren't used to being considered a destination LOL. What many don;t realize is this tax policy is part of a plan for eCan to improve its population and increase its tax base. In addition, it gives many of our immigrants a reason to help fight for us when the sh*t hits the fan.
