Definitely a bro tip I can get behind

I realize that I haven't written an article in quite awhile, I've got loads of excuses that I'm sure none of you are interested in so I'll just say that I was and am still a very lazy person. However I am going to try and get back into writing at least for the next month or so, so bear with me as I try and get back into the swing of things. I won't be returning to writing issues of the eWorld Warfare Report as of yet because it requires more time and energy than I know I can commit at this time, so for now I will just be writing about things that catch my eye, in this case the Colombian babyboom.

From time to time in erepublik nations experience what are known as babybooms, this means a nation is experiencing a growth rate that is so much higher than the average that it is readily apparent. There have been plenty of babybooms in erepublik (I was born during a Untied States babyboom) relatively recently including the Chilean, Mexican, and Taiwanese babybooms. What is significant about the Colombian babyboom is that it offers Columbia a chance to alter the balance of power in South America, or it could do nothing. Thats the thing about babybooms, sometimes they come and go and afterwards the country that experienced it is no better or worse off than it was before. It all depends on how well the country experiencing the boom is able to retain its newly born citizens and since the retention rate in erepublik is downright awful you often times see country's experience a babyboom and afterwards have nothing to show for it.

There is hope for the Colombian babyboom however, being continually under assault by 4 nations will at the very least give these new ebabies something to click for, whether enough of them stay to make a difference long term is something we will just have to wait to see.
