AFA congressmen will propose this month only laws for a 1% tax, we want the government to take as little as possible from the hard earned money of each eUS citizen.
AFA also plans to give 35 gold to 1000 eUS citizens in order for them to make a q5 weapon raw material company. People ask how can we accomplish this,we do not have any money to spend on that, this is a AFA lie. It is not a lie, it is actually quite simple, we will stop subsidizing the military, as in many other country the military will have to make due with it's communes. Each month with this money 1000 citizens will receive 35 gold to make a q5 wrm company.
We have to stop the unaccountable spending the military supposed to make, money that are being spent on weapons(even tho we can not be sure they were ever really bought, they just say they bought the weapons and we have to believe their word for it) and the so-called supply system that is also uncountable to anyone, they just say that a number of weapons have been supplied to some people and we have to believe their word for it. Why not make a list of what weapons went to which player and they to confirm it daily. i bet if you impose this system the supplies will drop to less then half because the difference of supplies is nonexistent. So many eUS soldiers complain that inefficient supplies reach them. The money simply goes into the pockets of some persons(i saw that the word elite is not really popular so i will try not to use it).
If RGR and AFA win the election we will establish a transparent Patriot Defense Fund. For all the donations received(from the state and private persons) we will make a transparent list of all weapon purchases with date hour and price so we can be accountable and transparent for the spending since anyone can check the price in that day. For all donations we will make a list and ask each person that received the supply to confirm it in that list so even the supplies are perfectly accountable and transparent.
We will restore 100/100 resource bonuses, which will bring tremendous economic benefits back to our country and allow money to literally be flowing in!

I'm quite sure that none of us actually reported you, why should we. Leaving with sponsored companies is not illegal in eRep, just immoral, but that's another thing. Btw, I built like 50 saltpeters with personally in-game earned money in my first 2 years or so, without having invested a single cent of RL-money.
Anyway, concerning your article, I am generally very very in favor of your idea, not throwing money into a black hole but investing it in infrastructure instead - but unfortunately, you are part of the explanation why it doesn't work out that good. To earn the 35g you invested in a rubber company, even with 100/100 bonuses, it takes about 300 days. With current 20% bonuses in the eUS, nearly 500 days. And if one guy runs away with just one company, it'd then be nearly 1000 days until you earned the money you invested..
..for the second company. And you WILL have losses.

Why did you delete your article? This one has the same lies in it, like you saying you will stimulate the economy with 35000 gold when we only have 1000 in treasury and 3000 in CBO. You cannot generate 35000 gold in revenue whether the work tax is 1% or 25% or whatever. Defecit spending to the max.
And you proposing a 1% tax would be just as illegal as Hale's proposal.
We are proposing the following economic measures:
1. Raise the import tax to 15% in order to stimulate our economy and not increase the revenue in the countries that sell their products here in the eUS market at the moment.
2. We will slightly increase the VAT in order to increase the revenue without imparing the posibility of citizens that make economies to pay back those loans to do so.
3. A part of the profits from the q5 wrm company that the citizens will recieve from the eUS government will come back to the eUS government(and with the 100% weapon bonuses we will make in the firs 5 days after we start governing) the citizens will have a income only in those first 25 days of 600 CC. if they will pay back only 25% of this income we will recieve 150000 cc from them only.
With what income we generate from these 3 methods and cutting the military income we will have enough cc to accomplish this.
Your party leader said "Further, VAT and Import taxes will be set at 1%". And VAT taxes are more harmful than work taxes.
The only way you can be sure to have part of the profit return to the government is through taxes. You have no way to punish citizens if they don't pay you back, so many wont.
Why would they not want to pay back something? with the amount of citizens we have and the future income we will get back from the payments we can perpetuate this program and flurish together in erepublik. It's not like they would get some advantages in real life due to their erepublik income... At least in the virtual world we can prove that we can all work together for the better of all of us.If this program proves as efective as it is it might perpetuate and even further governments will keep it, Imagine how this game will play out if in each year the country does something for the citizen for a change instead of just profiting from him. Imagine what that would do to the large percentage of the players that are quiting, from all the friends~80 i made in erepublik since i started playing only 2 are still playing, in most countries this is true also. How will the eUSA do if it's population starts frowing from month to month instead of it being constant.. and if people enjoy their time spent here don't you think they will bring at least a few RL friends to play also?
"Why would they not want to pay back something?" Not everyone wants to help their nation. People in this game scam people. They want personal gain. The fact that people will pay real life money for virtual gold shows that they care about gaining money in the game. People will emigrate from other nations to come get free gold and then leave again. You might help some citizens out, but it will be a massive drain on our reserve that will take a very long time to recover.
well, for our last arguement, we can fix it it easy, only eUS citizens that have been citizens for more then (6m/1year the duration is debatable) are eligible for the program, in order for noone to be able to acuse us of rigging the game we can make a list of all aplicants who recieve a application number and use a web randomiser of your choice to elect the lucky winners.

If the ROI on such a plan would work so well why doesnt the AFA do it first? pile together a few citizens gold and then rotate based on ROI.. Oh wait the ROI for 1 is a few years. The idea of giving people things would only hurt the country.
300 days it takes to payback with 10/10 bonuses which we will provide, And yes we are making q5 wrm companies amongst some of our members with our current reserves. This is why we want to implement in nation wide because it works!
That right there is the big point you just made with 10/10 its takes 300 days. We are not going to have 10/10 for a few months still starting any from of investment now is just painfully slow and quite a few cost money. So we need to implement it before 10/10 and then bleed the money it costs to make things?

I /know/ it's accountable because I'm one of the ones tracking the info. The government has reports and specific data available to them with the things you're saying are based on word only. Every dollar is counted.
