Daoine na hÉireann,

Tomorrow is the day when you get to choose your political leaders for the coming month, who you want to represent your party on the national stage.

I am running for President of the Irish Union Party as I feel that more needs to be done by the party to communicate with its members and to get every party member's opinions and ideas to formulate party policies that truly represent the party and not just its leader.

In my view communication is key and the Irish Union Party simply have not communicated with the public well at all over the last few terms. The last post in the IUP public forums was from me, back in November!!

I want to change that and bring back the weekly congressional updates, let the public know where the party stands, publicise our policies on the forum, let people know what we stand for. Sadly people do not know at the moment. This is the only way we can improve upon our voter base and recruit new members dedicated to our ideals of working for a better eIreland.
