Ignore citizen comments

You've just had your breakfast and you're reading the newspaper like any normal citizen. And out of nowhere, you see a troll has posted a comment and it annoys the hell out of you!


Note: any similiarity to real citizens is purely coincidental as the picture above is fictional

You wish you can just ignore those comments, don't you? Well, now it's possible! I present to you: eIgnore ! It is a Greasemonkey script that lets you ignore citizen's comments.

How to use

Requirements
- www.mozilla.com/firefox/">Mozilla Firefox (it should work on Opera, not tested)
- https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/748">Greasemonkey

1. Install Greasemonkey and restart Firefox after installation
2. Install eIgnore !



3. You see a citizen that annoys you and you wish to ignore him ... Go to Community -> Tools.
4. Enter that citizen's nickname (note: case-sensitive) and click Ignore. The citizen should appear in the ignore list. Incase you made a mistake, you can easily delete him from the ignore list by pressing X next to his name.



The comments of the citizen you ignored won't appear in articles anymore.
(Note: the ignored comments will be deleted as soon as the page is fully loaded, so you may see the comments for a second or so sometimes - this is a Greasemonkey limitation)

EDIT: Update coming tommorow with an option to ignore articles. Thanks to Federalni agent who first suggested this feature 🙂 And also, a button next to the comment to more easily add the troll to the ignore list is going to be introduced (tnx Ravenas).
