I Will Troll No More, Forever

Day 938, 01:23 Published in USA USA by Necros Xiaoban

I have made up my mind, henceforth the Federalist Party will be my home.
Thanks to Angelini and Firesand for assisting me in that decision.

The choice, as all choices inevitably are, was simple once I understood the truth of the matter.

The AmericanProgressive Front/United States Workers Party lacks direction. It has entered into a time of turmoil as it attempts to reconcile the merger of unlike parties, to the detriment of them all.

SEES remains a troll party, lacking in common sense and decency.

TAMA has ideals, many of which I agree with, but lacks the substance to put its ideals into practice.

And the UIP counts itself amongst the Top 5 purely by incident of a fluke ATO.

The Federalist Party is the only functional party in the United States. To call a party political is a misnomer. There is very little in the way of politics in the United States, only a generally friendly rivalry amongst the individual parties.
A party is simply a collective, judged on their ability to organize and cooperate with one another. To that end, the Federalists have been highly successful with a range of mentor programs, and a well recognized militia.
More then that, the Federalists are more then their party leadership, but they are a living, thriving organic party, one which will continue to have members to carry the torch when the present leaders pass on. It is that ability to endure which will assure the Feds a place in American influence for time to come.

Many people enter this game with the preconceived notion that in order to change the system, they must first tear it down. They squander months creating and building sixth parties to little effect. There are no conservatives or liberals amongst us, not in any grand sense.
Parties are simply groups of people who have decided they can abide one another. I would strongly encourage any new player to find which member of the Top 5 most suits them, and then join it. Build influence, meet people, make connections that will serve them well in the months to follow.

It takes the collective political capital of an entire sixth party to place just a few candidates on the Congressional ballot. With small effort, anyone can earn that same right in joining the Top 5.
I was heartened when communicating with the Federalist political coordinator to know already he is training and searching for his replacement. The opportunities to lead are out there, if we will but recognize them.

Firesand asked that I publish these views, and I ask only that you think on them, and consider if they have merit.

Friends, the time for fighting amongst ourselves is at end. If we are to waste our days trolling one another, we shall never be great. We will never join together in one fight, a single blade to smite our enemies, for the steel of our blade will be ever weak, and tarnished.

It has been months now, since we lost our focus, and turned to agitating one another. As the months have grown long, the agitation has not ceased, but has constantly grown.
In my opinion, it will not cease but only augment further, until a crisis has been reached, and passed.
Divided, we cannot stand. I believe this nation cannot endure, half troll and half not. I do not expect this nation to fall, I do not expect our territories to be dissolved.

But I do believe we will become all one way, or all the other.

Either the opponents of trolls will halt the spread of them, and place it in the minds of the people such that they believe trolling to be a dead art; or its advocates will push it forward, until every one among us joins in.

If you disbelieve me, do we not have amongst our Top 5 party solely dedicated to the elevation of that art? Is not trolling their way of being?

The trolls forced their way into the Top 5, and have since declined, while others have risen. Have we now come to this point-now, when the hollow promise of trolls is wavering, dissevered, and belligerent? The result is not doubtful. We shall not fail-if we stand firm, we shall not fail. Wise counsels may accelerate, or mistakes delay it, but, sooner or later, the victory is sure to come.

I ask that you join me today, and pledge to not troll your brother until Phoenix is burned from the face of this Earth, and that you hold one another to that pledge. Together, we can do great things. Divided, we can only fall.
