A country filled with so many utter idiots and mentally deprived people, really hard to find a comparison to that. But yet anything can be compared to anything, so let's leave that behind for now. As I shall mock you proudly, not everything, but the parts that deserve to be mocked. Once so great, so magnificent, now just strong and powerful and the biggest, yet the weakest. Such a seeable paradox in that, it makes you wonder what went wrong. Serbs as a nation in this game are after all the most dominant, the most present, the most seen. Or so was the case once upon a time. Not anymore, everything you have worked for, everything got destroyed by you, dear Serbians, being unable to find a good mixture of military and political power, thus meaning you have fallen into a conflict of interests where only the dominant prevail. Which in its basis never brings anything good. The times of the good and intelligent guys are over, the times of raw and brutal power are upon you. As for one cannot notice that, he truly must be blind, or deaf in certain cases. Being an outsider, I can call you whatever I please to, and I with pleasure will, but if I for one was a Serbian, I would be called a total idiot - for which I already am to some. It's a good thing to expose, how the opinions of foreigners are more respected than the opinion of local, wise and above all efficent people who never seem to get the "power" they need to change Serbia for the better.
Hopeless would be one word to put it. Stupid another. But however we put it, what you have so far achieved in this game has brought nothing to you except fame and you living on former glory. Every comparable nation to you has managed to overtake you in importance, half smaller Macedonia has managed to get the world attention by doing the impossible. You keep doing only the possible with impossible people at your helm. The irony. Yet now that you have travelled far beyond your borders to Iran, you are still unsure, uncertain for what you seek there? Is there any sense to that? I for one could really assume you are crazy enough you will decide to occupy half of China, not because that will deem you any good, but because you can and have the raw and brutal power for that. You lack thinking though, a lot of it to be precise. Once that was present, now you have put that aside and found happiness in the unknowing. The more you stick to foolishness, the more it gets to you.
In Serbia a sad sad thing can be seen. Thieves, liars, fools get to the helm time and time again. Horrible sight. The political system is in ruins. There's no critical perception to things anymore. Everyone just seeks to get to the top and steal. A tradition imposed by desert hamster it seems. What a marvelous person! Are you really that fooled by people like him to let them get to the top whenever they please to? Is that really what Serbia has turned into? A country where lying is a matter of everyday affairs? For starters, the majestic and the most powerful nation should be lead by competent people and not those who seek just to do unreasonable things with it. Your voice got lost in the foreign affairs over a year ago – by then it was only fading. Now it has faded completely. You keep letting people question your authority and power, yet to no end you let them do that. Shockingly must we face the truth about Serbia, or we can forever stay hidden to it.
Where have the capable people gone to, oh dear Serbia? Three fingers was often referred to as a sign of glory and dominance, now it's just a sign of dwindling country that seeks to destroy the only thing it is meant to destroy. Croatia, it's the only guidance to your e-life. I find that almost tragicomical in fact. As such a small country controls whatever you do by whatever it does. And you fall for it again and again, chase them to the world's end and once reach it are uncertain what to do next.
You ideology is broken, has no real goals. You have found yourself in the position where you have to – now! – ask yourselves what your meaning in eRepublik is. As to whom you fight for and to what end? To just play it, that isn't the essence of this game. Playing is just one of the parts. To play, you must first discover the other crucial elements, of which you have been aware once upon a time, but have forgotten about it.
Call upon your capable people, show them some respect and dignity, as they are the ones who will lead you out of this crisis. Powerful military groups with illusive belief they are the strongest cannot harm people who aren't afraid to be critical to everything to what they don't agree or see weaknesses in. Stop stealing from your own country, as thefts are just another way to put how idiotic you are. Certainly Serbia has some idiosyncracies, but that is just one of the reasons why you should be proud on who you are. And for starters respect brings respect, never forget that.
It's a sad seeing to see such a country, once so mighty, be on its ground due to incapable leaders doing what they are for their own interests. One could really praise the folly in Serbia and be praised himself, as it has gotten that bad.
Give me back the old Serbia!

It's politics at it's best (worse). It has been eating everything and everyone from inside and pushing to the point of total fail. Drags you in and you slowly become what you tried to change. It is the real image of RL Serbia political scene, completely. Negative selection and greed, corruption and hate.
Smart and capable ones are gone after some attempts or they just gave up and play their game. After all it is a game so why waste so much positive energy when it's needed in RL 🙂

Perhaps with total saturation of new bottoms ppl will snap and take control of things. But that's the same philosophy players will stand up to Plato, or that revolution will take down the failing system. People lack will and they need to get angry enough :😁
I am still hoping for it all and I always will, once had big inspiration in erep for that but as I mentioned, energy and will is needed in RL Serbia a lot so not much room for internet games in the end of the day :😁
The golden generation of Serbs are gone or uninterested.
If this was an natural disease, it would be an easy way to take ; ) It's harder to eliminate a social decay..

Guilty are people that pulled their personal problems into politics...
First time when someone started attacking other political party and spitting on everyone even tho they were innocent just because they had 1(!!!) person there that they didn't liked and pulled all people in it, eSerbia wasn't as it was once.
Tho to me there is some light in near future but again only time will tell how will it all end.
In the end Serbs have largest number of people outside their country... Someone would ask himself why is it like that....

When I registered to this game first time there was no Serbia on map.... I quitted as it wasn't really interesting to me to do anything as I am not kind of person that would go on chats and stuff... Even now I don't really do that.
When I came back it was little late in eyes of most people. I skipped all those PTO-ing and that "golden age" of eSerbia. President then was sesta.bg.... Somewhat good term where people were somewhat satisfied.
Serbian community is always divided, and when there is some kind of choice between two fractions we always choose the wrong one. In RL and ingame. We are the same.
Next president was Clueless where I really saw how should country really work. In president newspapers he made longes article I ever saw explaining every single move and every single gold/currency spent and on what. In my mind that was great term. Then on next election sesta.bg won again. Thing that happened in that term was that big sum of gold just dissapeared from bank. I really didn't know how it all work but he lost all support. Then some other people had free way to political sky....
I knew that in time before I registered there were people for who was proven that they are thieves. Let me say that I really didn't liked how thing went from there. On one side there was political party proposed almost same government but only different president and on other side you had that same person that was stealing from treasury. I didn't voted on those election.... Some time passed, opposition became unstoppable...

Power and success are based on men, and in eSerbia majority of good men are long gone...
After some time they decided to split and try to get on top by themselves.... On one side you had that thief and on other side you had people that putted that thief in power just so they could win election and get to power faster. To me that was no good choice. Time passed and instead of forgetting what was in past exactly opposing this happened. You could see their fights on almost every newspaper in eSerbia and there was not a single writer that at least tried to fix things up.

Right now after almost 2 years we see same people fighting for same thing neglecting everything that is around them and using every single way to make them look bad both in eyes of eSerbia players and eSerbia allies.... To me bad thing is that one side got upper hand after some time and that was Desert Hamster. While he was going with story that this is game and we should joke around he got a lot of supporters. Bad thing was that he allowed all those supporters to do what they want till (...)

Other side was elitist one and lost, well they really didn't lost but they didn't gain any supporters and that time. Now when you have someone that puts in power anyone that can get him votes for election you have a lot of people that really don't know what to do and that hurts eSerbia in foreign affairs. So yeah all those articles where they spit on each other made that players don't really have will to play expect to watch from aside and do nothing.

Yep, precisely what is wrong with Serbia. Lack of people that have the necessary intelligence and persistence to make it to the top. If the top is reached, only then will things begin to unravel into a new direction.

Also don't know if there is place to see it so you know that I don't lie but in this 2 and half years of my playing I spend only round 5-6 months is eSerbia... That were mostly my first few months but yeah don't like it so won't go there any time soon.....
It is the curse and the gift of every empire, nothing lasts forever.
The downfall could have come only from inside and it is up to community to change this.
You don't need only good people to succeed. You need good, hard working and people capable of making others believe in a goal, because without cohesion nothing that lasts can be done.

Not intelligence, only persistence and honesty. We have a whole lot of intelligent ASSHOLES. But no-one fair and honest wants to invest time and work hard on erepublik. That's the main reason of our downfall (by my opinion) - this game has severely and irreversibly degraded so it doesn't deserve our time and nerves anymore.
I wish everyone had a chance to be a full-time member of Serbian community through 2010. at least for a day. Just look for how long that memory holds me here, in this game that has nothing more for me.
It was the most magnificent environment that this game will ever see. Not because others can't make it, but because present state of game doesn't even offer a possibility for those days to come back. This is money-draining machinery for some masochistic-profiled people, no game detected here.
It's the battle we all lost in March 2011, you know well what I mean. I've seen this all coming right away, many people have.
But fib (newly elected president of Serbia) didn't and he pulled us right into disaster.
Romper did. But he actually wanted all this to turn the way it went eventually, so he immediately ignited attack on Serbia, sparking short-sighted fib's reaction, which effectively led to rebellion collapse.
That's why I despise that man to this day. IF it is only one man, that is.
I would never fight for Serbia. Neveeeeeeeeeer ; )
Serbia is mostly led by new generation of players, which are mostly teenagers who are taught to steal and lie, and to lead country without any sense of responsibility. It is easier to them to go to play-station and make bunch of multiple accounts and win elections, then to make some ideology.
Old players (if they are still in the game) who knew strategy, who knew how to make good diplomacy, who knew how the country should be led, are uninterested to fight against multiple accounts.
It brings us to the position in which Serbia is under constant TO by her own citizens. If you can accept that the most powerful parties in Serbia (who win 75% of CP elections) have more than 500 multiple accounts, and if you look in elections results in the last year, or maybe even earlier, you will realize that they gain the power just because of that multiple accounts.
For example, remember nesako? CP of Serbia in 2 months in a row. His government stole about 7M RSD, and they won elections again last month. CP wrote 2 articles for the whole month (and 1 was not written by him at all), MoFa didn't have any articles in this month, Ministry of information had 3 articles for almost whole month.
They don't tell us where we go, why we go there, they don't tell us anything about diplomacy, about where our money is, they don't have absolutely any sense...
... of responsibility to their own people. They just know, that no matter what they do, they have so many hunderds of multiple accounts and they know that they will win the elections whenever they want to. They resign when the situation is hard, when diplomatic relations to other countries become so weak and when there is no money in the bank.
When the other political option resolves the problems, or at least starts with resolving them, when they make the bank full of money again, the TO-ers turn on their multiple accounts again, and regain the power. They ruin everything, then let someone who knows how to play to make things better, then they make another TO, and we have a magic circle which never ends. I hope you understand me..
For the end of my comments, I will tell you one more thing.
