I have recently been approved by PP and other Party officials to run for Congress. I have to make an article about it so here it is.
I want to represent the American people!!
The reason why I want to represent the American people is I have always wanted to represent the people ever since I joined erepublik. I am very active and I have been posting articles including the interview I did with Gnilraps and my opinion. Here are the reasons why you should vote for me. Congress members have a number of responsibilities because the American people expect the best out of them.
1)I want the American Freedom Alliance NEW out of Congress.
The American Freedom Alliance NEW has witnessed a decline in months as the party is getting destroyed and it is in its last days. Soon you won’t see them anymore. Oblige established the first American Congress with no American Freedom Alliance (AFA) NEW members and a vote for me will continue to do that. In fact, vote for anyone other than any AFA NEW congress candidates. I want us to continue seeing the decline of American Freedom Alliance NEW and the American Freedom Alliance who occupy the eighth and seventh spots in the top ten parties in EUSA. We must continue seeing AFA NEW not in congress in order for us to have a clean congress that has an agenda that must benefit the American people.
2) I would like to see parties continue to help new players.
The top five parties have already established a stronghold so that neither AFA New or the AFA enter into the top five spots because if they are in those spots, we are in the risk of a Political Take Over that is going to put America in the worst position that it will ever be in but enough of that, I want to see the parties helping new players. All of them join together and help the American people. We can help the players and I know that the top five parties want to reach the number one spot but if we don’t help new players, they are going to leave and that will make us have a decline in population so we need to have the top five parties come together to help new players.PARTIES UNITE.
3)I want to see lower taxes
I am aware that this has been a big topic and I continue to stand firm as I have already received criticism which I like because criticism allows people to express their own opinions. The reason why I want to see lower taxes is because it can benefit the American people and help them in many ways. It will increase productivity first because we have a treaty with Poland and Spain and we are getting regions back and with lower taxes, we can see that if we work in our companies, it will take our money away which is good because I absolutely support us funding the budget but if we have lower taxes, we can see the increase in purchasing and selling products in the markets because first, if let’s say I have 27 dollars in my work day because when I work, I get paid 27 dollars so let’s say I have 27 days the first day I go to work and previously I never heard money so I have 27 dollars. Now I go to work and each time I work in my companies, 0.25 cents are taken away from my money and I own 5 companies. 2 for producing food materials and 1 for producing weapon materials and 2 food and weapon manufacturing companies. I don’t have enough materials but since 5x0.25=1.25, I can go and purchase in the market some materials and produce food and weapons and go and sell them and fight in the battlefield as a soldier. I shall examine the benefits for this and I shall retell the story in a simpler fashion for those who don’t understand.
I go to work and I have 27 dollars. Before I got the job, I never heard any money. When I work, I go to my 5 companies and I work. Since you work, the work tax comes in and takes away your money I work and each time I work, 0.25 cents are taking away from my pockets.
I own 5 companies so 5X0.25=1.25 so 1.25 dollars are deducted from my pocket. I don’t have enough materials so I go and purchase materials in the market and I am able to produce food. As you can see, this will benefit the seller because I purchased his materials and it will benefit me because my energy goes back to being full and I can decide to go fight in the battlefield, keep them in my storage, or sell them. I am going to state the benefits.
1) It benefits the seller because he gets money.
2) I get to go and fight in the battlefield and follow the DoD order.
3) If I am a new player, I would not like to see the money I work for get taken away in a large amount.
Let me state that I don’t think that the taxes could be ever put at 0.25 cents and it won’t be realistic and this was only an example and remember, this doesn’t mean I want to see the taxes at a very low point because it would be ridiculous and the government will go into a deficit.
4)Increased funding to the USAF but not a ridiculous amount.
Even though I would like the USAF to be disbanded so that we can have lower taxes (I am not the only player who supports this), the USAF represent us on the battlefield and they are a big part of EUSA. They help a lot of new player learn the military module and can help you have a military career. Government programs such as Meals on Wheels help USAF new players as long as you fight and they continue to do that. An increase in USAF funding means more damage on the battlefield and more weapons in the disposal of the American soldiers in the USAF. I also would like to see Private MU and the USAF collaborate and yes I am aware they do that through the NSA although the NSA is only for orders. The military can help players even in the economy when they go and produce products and materials in their companies although I hope they don’t do that because those programs are strictly for fighting. More funding=More weapons at the disposal for American soldiers=More damage in the battlefield

Paul, I appreciate that you want to be active and join Congress, and I encourage you to keep working toward that. However....
You call for reduced taxes while at the same time calling for increased funding of USAF. You also say that you actually want them disbanded. You can't have it both ways, and one absolutely offsets the other.
The current tax revenue has already plummeted following the average wage collapse, meaning that not only are people paying less taxes on their companies (as we said they would) but we have less money to spend on the things we need to. I wrote an article about this very issue.
I think you're a great new player and should keep learning about the game, but I don't think you're experienced enough for Congress because you don't really have a solid grasp on mechanics and requirements it places on the players.
Also, new player companies will never be profitable. They should never be worked in.

Hmm... I don't necessarily disagree with this, but sometimes a hands-on approach is a good way to learn, isn't it, DMJ?
