I Must Remember to Breathe

Day 660, 21:37 Published in Ireland Ireland by Edana Savage

You have known me from my icon picture. An eye can tell you a lot, but I guess I can give you a better idea of who you are dealing with. It's always nice to put a WHOLE face to a name. 😉

Anyway.......

*takes a breath*

Wow. It has been a busy week! Shaping the Ministry of New Citizens is no easy task. And there has been a lot going on in my RL work. So I do what I can to keep moving forward.

Now that the Finance Ministry has set up an operating budget, I will be creating an organization specifically for New Citizens with a corresponding paper. Kai Arimethea has been doing a terrific job compiling informative articles that will help new citizens navigate through eIreland.

The goal of the newspaper (which has yet to be named) is to serve as a place for new citizens to gather. We would like an article to be published once every other day and it needs to place in the top five everyday. That way new citizens will easily locate the articles and thus get them connected more quickly into the forums and other outlets of communication.

This is where your help will be necessary. I need my veterans to vote up these articles when they are published. As I said, these articles need to be in the top five everyday.

I had a meeting with our eUSA counterparts to discuss what programs they have available over there. A lot of wonderful ideas! Some I think we can implement immediately and others that are not necessary at this time, but could be something to consider as we grow.

And we will grow, Ireland. That is inevitable. 🙂

I have been in contact with ALOT of New Citizens and in contact with immigrants who would like to become citizens. I have been getting a very positive response from both. 🙂 Let's see how that translates into the numbers.
